Good preventative
These are temporary remedies until I get to the veterinarian for drops that include heart worm preventative too. I had no expectations with this 3-vial (3 month supply) product, but after applying the 2nd vial (month 2), there have been no bugs. No fleas, no lice, no mites, no ants, no bugs. I’ve seen no larvae or eggs either. This product works as presented. My service dog’s food had no infestation or any bugs eggs larvae on her when I started treatment.

Skeptical but Flea Free
When we brought our new puppy home, she immediately started scratching like crazy, that’s when we discovered our house had a serious flea problem! I panicked and needed a solution fast. After reading tons of positive reviews, I ordered Frontline and was relieved it arrived quickly. As a bonus, it’s safe for puppies as long as they meet the minimum weight requirement. Application was straightforward, just applied it behind the shoulder blades as directed.**The results:** Within the first day, I could see fleas dying, which was encouraging. However, I’ll be honest, I was a bit concerned when I still spotted 1-2 live fleas daily for the first 48 hours. Based on what I’d heard, I expected faster results. But patience paid off. By day three, the fleas were completely gone and haven’t returned.**Bottom line:** Frontline definitely works, though it takes a full 2-3 days to completely eliminate the problem rather than the overnight miracle I was hoping for. The gradual but thorough elimination was worth it for lasting results.**Would I buy again?** Absolutely. Our puppy is comfortable and flea-free!

Truly WORKS, & we live in wooded area.
Thee only stuff that works on my small pup, who is hardly outside but to do his thing, & occasionally walks. He’s up there in age. But, darn when this is NOT on him, those ticks FIND HIM. Nasty things. With FRONTLINE.. no worries! It’s expensive.. but worth it!

Better than others at least
I began using Frontline Plus because of a terrible flea problem, I had with my two smallish dogs. I've tried Hartz (which actually worked for a few months, but I still wouldn't recommend because of the apparent health risks. i didnt know about such things at the time, obviously), Adams (which is pretty much lemon scented water that was diluted more and more through each stage of treatment), and various powders and sprays (all of which sucked, and one even burned a hole through a cotton bag I had stored it in. Now THAT is scary.)So, that's why I decided to fork over the extra cash and bought Frontline Plus. I was at the end of the line, and my dogs were suffering because of my frugality. Frontline Plus is WORTH the cash (although I haven't tried other similarly priced items, so I couldn't say Frontline is of better quality than those, just stay away from the cheap stuff)... and I'll tell you why:This product brought relief to my poor pups, unlike the suspicious "wait and see" stuff. Even after having initially felt cheated, my dogs were relieved and noticeably more upbeat, and in the end that's what matters most. After reading reviews and the pamphlet insert, I had expected the issue to have been mostly resolved within a week, as we had already treated our entire apartment upon applying the product. This was not the case. It took at least 2 weeks to notice a change, not immediate like so many reviewers imply. (I was still seeing fleas on the dogs a week after application.) BUT following the two weeks, the fleas were GONE! Every last one of them! No more new bites on my dogs bellies and no more insane scratching. It works, just gradually (which is realistic anyhow). Now the reason I knocked off a star is this: the product information included in the packaging, notes that Frontline works to repel and kill fleas for up to two months. Well... from the date of first application, the products effectiveness diminished two weeks into the second month, that's a month and 1/2 after first applying. Now, I didn't receive results until after week 2 of the first month... so my animals were only protected for approximately 4 weeks... that's ONE month. Frontline HAS to be used continuously, no matter what it says it kills, for however long. There's a strange 2 week leeway period after the first application, and if you hold off on the next dosage (more than one week) you WILL see fleas (if your pets engage in regular activities and socializing and such, I presume. I'm not sure if it would have been an issue if the dogs were not more active outside there living area.)

Fleas & Ticks Beware
Frontline is GREAT!!! Ihave a small dog and he sniffs every blade of grass, everywhere. The former flea & tick treatment from last season didn't do nearly as well as Frontline! YES to Frontline -- no fleas or ticks this season and my dog is just as happy as I am about that!!!
