The media could not be loaded.  Firstly, I should have never ordered this hose. It is very big and heavy and I likely would have done just fine with the 3/4.With that said, now that I have it installed I will keep using it. This thing just won’t kink no matter what I do to it. It fits the Eley hose reel perfectly(with extender) and when you use the Eley quick connects for the nozzle, it makes it fairly easy to use since the quick release rotates freely.I still need to get a 3/4 inch inlet hose for the reel and a new sprayer, but the water flow is still impressive. I was able to wash down my porch and walls mush more quickly than before. I know the water pressure is the same, but this moves so much more water (gpm) that washing away dirt goes faster.I know the 5/8 inlet hose is likely causing a gpm reduction, but some it’s only 5 feel perhaps it’s not too bad. I will report back once I update to a 3/4 inlet hose and see if there is a noticeable difference. If you do get this I definitely recommend ordering the Eley high flow quick connects to easy attach 3/4 accessories.

In theory, it was a great hose, but in reality, it has faulty construction. The hose detached from the fittings within seven months after only light use around the house. The construction cannot withstand the water pressure and therefore causes the hose to rupture from the fittings—an engineering flaw.In addition, the hose is utterly unwieldy.

This is actually a great hose, but most residential hose bibs do not accommodate 1" fittings. Make sure it's right for your application before ordering. We did not, and had to return it.

I needed to replace my 3/4 inch hoses with one inch when I began irrigating my pasture with the Underhill T-400 Tracker traveling sprinkler. These hoses are well made with quality materials, and they are manufactured in the USA!
