****2 Year Update****Mop is still going strong two years after I bought it. Still handles light messes and cleaning. Haven't had to replace any of the washable pads yet - I have 3 that I rotate. I machine wash and air dry them and they're still in perfect shape. Sprayer still works great too. It does leak if you turn it upside down, so, I guess don't do that (don't ask me why I did, I don't know).Original ReviewThis mop is perfect for what I bought it for: basic maintenance cleaning in our 2000 sq ft home.The main living areas are wood laminate, the kitchen, bathrooms and mudroom are vinyl flooring. Bedrooms are carpeted (until we rip it out) so obvs not mopping there.We're on a farm and are a large blended family with 2 dogs and 7 people. Our house gets a ton of foot traffic. We mostly take shoes off, but occasionally people run through with them on. The mudroom helps contain a lot of dust, mud, wet dirt and farm boots and such to keep the rest of the house clean.We have a cleaner come every 2 weeks, and I needed something that was simple and fast to keep the house maintained in between her cleanings.This mop does that. I can grab it, swipe it over the floors quickly and it lifts the simple surface dirt. It's easy to use, the sprayer is fantastic and you can angle how you're holding it to adjust where the spray hits the floor. I like that it's refillable with my cleaning solution (I use biokleen bacout cleaners usually), and I toss the pad into the towel hamper when I'm done.Do not expect this mop to clean actual heavy dirt, it can't. I would not use this on my mudroom floors where we get heavy dirt from boots and mucky wet dog paws. It wouldn't touch it as that's a job for an actual bucket and mop and water. However, for a quick mop on floors that just have surface dirt on them this is perfect.Assembly was very easy as well. Definitely make sure you push the bottom pole in all the way or the sprayer won't work (I had to push it in harder then I'd expected).I bought this because I wanted a swiffer style mop without wanting to create constant waste (and continually have to re-buy products). I also didn't want anything with batteries I had to replace either.This does the same job and is much more sustainable. With light mopping a few times a week I feel like the quality is good enough it should last a few years. I'll update if it doesn't. But overall this was a fantastic purchase.

Bought this mop as a replacement for my old swiffer. The main reason I switched brands was I didn’t want to be locked into only being able to purchase their brand of cleaners. This O-Cedar ProMist MAX Spray Mop is a fantastic replacement.TL;Dr Fantastic mop for the price. Expect to replace it when the shaft brakes.Pros--The mop heads are doubled sided and washable.-You can use whatever floor cleaner your heart desires.- The hand spray function makes a nice fine mist allowing you to clean more efficiently.- Nice and light. Which makes it incredibly easy to maneuver.Con-- My only complaint is with the shaft of the mop. It feels cheap and flimsy. I have no doubt in my mind that the failure of this mop will be the shaft breaking in half. If the shaft of the mop was sturdier it would likely be a lifetime mop but this is clearly where they cut corners to save on price.

This mop is PERFECT! I love it and wish I would've found it sooner. I love every O Cedar product I've tried so far, because they are tough, do the job well and dont have the unnecessary stuff to navigate. This mop functions with the cleaner OF YOUR CHOICE. You dont have to buy an expensive specialty cleaner made just for this mop. It also does NOT require batteries or charging. No maintenance- that's another win in my book. The profile is small for easy storage. The mop pad is DOUBLE-SIDED so you get twice the cleaning out of one pad, AND it doesn't slip off or fold under while you're scrubbing away. The mop pads are also machine washable. If you're looking for something to just get the job done, and done well, look no further. Highly recommend and will be buying again if/when this one ever gives out.
