I was hesitant at first before this purchase as I knew the miyoo had hinge problems. Fortunately this device was perfect, it had no issues and everything worked. I did not test bluetooth but the wifi does work, nor did I change the default firmware.I personally got the black one and for it's price and also be able to run games up to PlayStation 1 games like God Of War, which is insane. It runs super well especially for the price and all the things people said about this device, which I also tested btw. And the default os is mediocre I mean it's not amazing but I think you can do exactly what you want and need so far.For the price and what it can do, I recommend this device immensely. And I had no broken hinge. And it insanely good graphics for what I thought it may look like. So much better than I thought. It's insane that a device so small can run Playstation 1! It's just insane, people complain about this device, like it literally is supposed to be a portable device that RUNS PLAYSTATION 1 GAMES with perfect graphics. Remember how big the Playstation 1 was? This does that but portable in a game boy advanced shell.I had no issues for playing a couple games for 1 hour, i would recommend.

The device itself plays games well and its a nice design. Unfortunately the Hinge part is the deal breaker here.While most of the reports of the hinge were on the grey model (which happened to mine too), It does not mean the other colors are immune to the issue.For an item this high priced, its not worth the risk of having this happen and getting replacement parts are not easy.I dont recommend this product due to the hinge issue.

It was great while it lasted! I had this device for a month and played it like crazy revisiting classic games on the go but then like a lot of people online the hinge got looser and looser and now the device won't shut off from closing the clamshell and will drain the battery if you don't notice stay away from this shell the rumors are all true

This is actually my second Flip. I had the grey one but as you can easily learn on the internet, the hinge on the grey ones break easily. This one has been a champ. I love having the joysticks on this clamshell because I really enjoy playing N64 and PS1 games on it. The quality (so far) of this black one has been great. The value is a bit high, but that's Amazon taking their share versus ordering direct. The size is perfect for carrying in your pocket also. As for performance, the stock firmware performs well enough but I'm still waiting for a better Linux based alternative. The android custom firmware is rather laggy because the CPU just isn't strong enough to handle it that well.Overall, this has been a little emulation champ. Easy enough to use right out of the box. Would have given it a 5-star but because my first one broke so quick, I just can't give it.

This is one of my favorite handheld so far I love playing DS and game boy advance, and game boy games on it. It runs all these games. No problem can even run up to PlayStation one smoothly. It’s nice and compact fits in your pocket, perfect on the go emulation 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.

I got this to replace my RG 35XXSP. At first, I was blown away by the small size. But, spending days trying to set it up, troubleshooting why PortMaster wasn't working, reformatting SD cards, I realized I would rather save my $95 and keep using my other retro handheld when traveling. The pocket size wasn't worth all the hassle.Pros:* Small - basically 1:1 to the Game Boy Advance SP* Screen is great, and bright. Like, really bright! Great for outdoors* Satisfying, but loud. Appears upgraded from V1* Colors, love them* Powerful processor for this segment, but not nearly to, "highest level of retro video game consoles," as Miyoo claims* Buttons are very quiet and have little travel. They feel great* Comes with SD card and reader, but beware, they're bottom of the charts in qualityCons:* Super cheap-feeling plastic* Battery drains fast* Worst analog sticks I've ever used, hands-down. Ditch the sticks and save us $10* Value. Should be closer to $55* Hinge is as loud as a clap. It also has an extra snapping point halfway between normal that you must surmount every time you open it* This is what killed it for me: Buggy, limited software. Language randomly switches to Chinese, Wi-Fi passwords aren't remembered, PortMaster was 90% non-functioning. Miyoo says, "The simplified stock system settings are suitable for beginners," but they're assuming the community will fix it for them like it does with AnbernicIf this were my only handheld, and I had a passion for developing for these Linux handhelds, then I might like it more. Believe me, I tried. But, when I just want to hop into a quick gaming session rather than doomscrolling in public, this just creates too much friction for me to like it.

Slightly faster, slightly smaller, slightly better screen, and slightly more expensive than the 35xxSP. I think it’s worth it though.

The media could not be loaded. Don't get me wrong the system is great for a Sub $100 retro handheld. It feels like I'm holding a GBA SP while I play a large library of free games that are included so it's comfortable for it's size. But where it all went wrong was my first one only one SD card port worked, I got a replacement then the second one the hinge feels like it's been severely abused, it came fresh out the box like that. I thought that's why they stopped the Grey one but it seems like it's the white one too. Hun
