SweetGourmet Arcor Assorted Fruitfuls Candy Bag, 6lb

I interned in an office last summer that had the Kirkland Sunshine Mix, which had these in them. For some reason, I feel as though I work better when I have hard candy, so I would eat quite a bit of it. I would usually pick through the bowl for these first, and thought to myself that surely they sell just these somewhere. So, I did a bit of investigating, and sure enough, found these online. I bought them for the first time in August of 2012 and just ordered another 6 lbs. today. In 2012, it was by Candy Nation, not Sweet Gourmet. The price was $19.25 for 6 lbs. - so, not much of a difference there. The shipping, however, is vastly different. Nearly $13 bucks to ship these today... before it was only a bit over $7. Don't know why it changed so much. If it weren't for the fact that I had Amazon.com gift cards to use, I likely would have bought them from Office Depot. They have a 5 lb. bag for $11.99 (and depending on any possible coupon codes you can find, maybe even less) AND they have free shipping for orders over $50. I was going to just buy 3 of the 2 lb. ones, because those are Amazon Prime eligible (they actually end up being a dollar or two less), but comments said you don't get the pineapple, which is my favorite flavor.

We love these candies. We get them at one of our doctor's office and that started us on a search to find some of our own. I mean going to the doctor to get the great candy just wasn't an option, now, was it? Thank goodness Amazon is the first place I check when I have something like that I just have to find. However, the initial cost slowed me down on whether to get them. I did check around to see if I could find it in more affordable amounts. Like maybe a pound. Finally I just gave up and bought the big package of candy and believe me it is a big bag of candy. So now we have plenty of candy and happy hearts.

These Fruitful Candies are delicious. I honestly don't eat very many sweets, but after dinner I like to have two or three hard candies instead of dessert and these candies do the trick. I love the soft centers and how it takes a while to get there and then you have an explosion of flavor. I also like the variety of flavors, (lemon, orange, cherry, strawberry and, my favorite, pineapple). The wrapping also looks nice in my candy jars. You can tell the quality of the product is excellent and I will definitely order them again for myself. They also make great gifts to bring to a dinner party if you have some extra nice glass jars around you don't mind parting with to place them in.

I got some before, somewhere. I couldn't find them in local stores, so I looked up Arcor candies on the internet and discovered that I could get it thru Amazon. Yee hah! I bought a 6lb bag for myself, and later had another shipped to my father, whose dietary restrictions don't permit him much leeway from his "prescribed" foods. But as far as candy.., he's 94, and if this is a simple pleasure that he can enjoy..., have at it, Pop.

Most of the candy was good, but not all. The cherry didn't taste like cherry, and the strawberry had little to no filling whatsoever. In fact, at least one was just a piece of hard candy.

I always buy the cherry. I like it best. ButI order this too. Its also good n gives you as st flavors. So down to this. The candy is good n the delivery is fantastic so far. I am getting tired of Amazons shipping. It was always pretty good. Lately unless you pay for prime the shipping is getting slower n slower. This candy ALWAYS has gotten my candy to me promt n as fast as possible.

Arcor Assorted Fruitfuls Candy 6 Lb Bag  I ordered these candies thru Amazon because I can not find them in stores. They come in 5 flavors, Cherry, Strawberry, Lemon,Orange & Pineapple. These Arcor fruitfuls are a delicious pick me up if you need a little something sweet, but let me say, that it'sHard to eat just one. My husband loves the Lemon ones the best.

Unfortunately, to no fault of the seller, these yummy candies are prepackaged way out of balance. See attached photo. Only 3 orange flavors compared to the enormous amounts of cherry, my least favorite flavor, & pineapple, which is not so bad, but seriously, only 3 orange, 3 strawberry & 12 lemon....very sad. 😕
