Super thin and no real compression
First, I have some XO compression shorts from ~10 years ago that I loved! Of course, they eventually wore out. I was excited to be getting some new ones. However, these are not nearly the same. These are super thin and offer no compression. I sent them back. I also bought the CompressionZ Compression Shorts. They are almost perfect. Thicker and nice compression. Again, if I could buy the same XO compression shorts I have from 10 years ago, I would. They were perfect. But alas, the brand changed their product to something subpar.

good support, but no padding
It works fine to hold the cup in place, but there's no padding worth mentioning. If you slide properly you shouldn't need much, but still.

What can I say, it's a cup. It's quite comfortable and does what is says it does.After a few of the baseball coaches, myself included, took some shots to the groin, figured it was time to pony up for protection. I'm happy I did.Sizing was tough. The XL was a tad tight, but the XXL seems to fit perfect. My waist is only 38" but I'm thicker thighed than most.
