Sapkowski is one of my favourite writer , so no wonder that I think his The Witcher?/Witchman?/Wiedzmin Saga is the best saga I've ever read !Love , action , emotions , blood , adventures , wishes , divinations and much more ..."Who is far , will die of plague; who is near will be killed by the sword ; who escape destruction will starve; who survives will be frozen... Because it would come Tedd Deireadh, Time of The End, Time The Sword and The Axe, The Scorns Time , Time of White Cold and Wolfs Blizzard..."

... and we still hate him because he's different. Good thing he doesn't care.Great fantasy novel, refreshing, and different from anything else you have written. Imaginative monsters, great ways to tackle them, and pure magic - the kind you always wanted to read about.The characters are highly developed, the little tiny love theme is not obnoxious, and the world of magic described is wonderful and charming as well as scary and interesting.I wish this book were available in English and/or not out of print.I highly recommend it as one of the basics for your fantasy collection.

Great book.

Quick and without any issues

Ich habe die Pseudomärchen für Erwachsene auf Polnisch und auf Deutsch gelesen, wobei das polnische Original noch beeindruckender, insbesondere sprachlich ist. Die Phantasie des Autors ist unendlich, obwohl die alter Märchen Motive irgendwie bekannt vorkommen. Plastische, differenzierte, nicht idealisierte und durchhaus sehr witzige Figuren. Hinzu kommt eine sehr reiche Tier- und Pflanzenwelt, vor allem der Heil(Gift)pflanzen in einem mittelalterlichen bzw. vormittelalterlichen Umwelt. Der Hexer jagt Basilisken, Monster, Striegen, Teufel, Dämonen und andere Bösewichte.Die Aktion ist schnelle, die Dialogen klar und witzig. Verdienterweise Weltbestseller.
