Switch - Original Marshall, Rocker, Power for MG Amps, Black

Easy to install - as mentioned, take off the 6 screws at the top that allow the electronic board to drop down. The switch box itself is really hard to squeeze with fingers alone, but basically grab a tightening wrench or something that can pinch the clip on top and bottom, and free it from the head. You can do this before (or after) removing the 4 wires - i removed the wires first. You'll have to really wiggle them for them to come loose - hard to get off, easy to get on. REMEMBER to label them or take a pic so you know which one goes where. Then simply push the new switch in from the outside of the unit (requires some force to compress those clips again), and reconnect the inside wires, ensuring there's no bare metal showing on the connection (there should be plastic sheathing to slide over the wire ends). Done, less than 5 mins.

The switch on my MG50DFX broke and after a quick search, I found this. I have absolutely no experience modding or repairing hardware but after following the instructions from another review here (unscrew the in my case 6 screws on the top keeping the amp in place and simply remove and replace the switch), I had the switch installed and the amp fully functioning in less than 5 minutes.In addition, the switch got here at the earliest day estimated which was a delightful surprise.

Easy install on my Marshall amp.Remove the four screws on top of the amp and slide the control board out from the rear of the amp. Keep note of which wire is connected to the switch.Pinch and remove the old switch, wiggle the connectors off, insert the connectors to the new switch by running it through the hole and install the switch in by pushing it from the face of the control board. Reverse install and mine was finished.

2 minute install, super easy, unplug old switch plug in new switch.

Searched all over locally to find this replacement part. My switch on my MG 30DFX broke and needed a new one. This is the perfect replacement for it.

Exact match for my broken one, swap the wires over, pushed it into place and fired my amp up! Perfect!
