Toutch screen incognito
I bought this item because I like to sit at the back of the classroom and controll overhead projector with a wireless mouse, however the mouse did not have reliable range. However lenovo 500 does and the surfaces of its keys act like a toutch screen, easily controlling windows applications on overhead projector ... cats meow.

Useless!
Can't control the keyboard! Switches to cursor control randomly! Very disappointing product! (Also, they included useless drained GP batteries!)Do yourself a favor - SKIP this product!

4 out of 5 because it can slip out of your hand.
The bottom should be more grippy or textured because it will slip out of your hand. Well, maybe not yours but it did mine twice, so I put that white cloth-like medical tape on the bottom, it works but each strip has to overlap and it looks mickey moused. I need to find something else I can use to it, maybe there is a rubberized paint I can spray on the bottom. Otherwise it's awesome, trackpad/keys works great.

Nowhere as good as the Lenovo N5902 Enhanced Multimedia Remote
I have had two Lenovo N5902 Enhanced Multimedia Remote since year 2011 and one of them broke last month--to my surprise Lenovo stopped making that model and I was forced to buy this Lenovo 500 Multimedia Controller as no other reputable manufacturers makes something similar to the N5902. I have been using the Lenovo 500 Multimedia Controller for about a month and the biggest downsides are it requires two hands for mouse operation and is not as accurate or comfortable to use as the N5902. Furthermore, doing page scrolling is also harder compared to N5902. If another manufacturer makes something similar to N5902 at a reasonable price I would buy it immediately; in the meantime I am forced to use this Lenovo 500 Multimedia Controller with worse performance and functionality as compared to the N5902. I so wish Lenovo would continue making the N5902!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Almost there, could have been better, issues, no support.
I use a PC connected to my TV for all media consumption. I normally control my system via a Harmony remote or a Logitech K400. When this device was shown by Lenovo in CES 2017, I was really excited for it and it wasn't until recently it actually came out so I had to try it. The first obvious downside is that the keyboard is not backlit. If the whole point of this device it to use with TV's and Home Theaters where the lights are usually dimmed, so doesn't it make sense to make the keyboard light up? What an oversight. The next is an bug which could be fixed, but Lenovo's support has been useless. Normally you can CTRL + Click a link to open it in a new tab (like when doing web searches) however this keyboard does not transmit the CTRL key being held down, only the click. You can CTRL + C and CTRL + V (etc) without issue so I know the key is working, you just can't CTRL + Click. There is a micro USB port on the bottom of the keyboard that says "for firmware update only" yet if you look for this product on Lenovo's support page you won't find anything. Their product/sales page does not list about any firmware updates either. I called support to see if this was a known issue and got directed to over 4 or 5 people and no one can help with this keyboard as Lenovo will only help if you have a Lenovo PC, even though this PC is certified to work with ANY Windows PC. At one point I finally got a rep to open a case for me and escalate it to engineering (or claims he did), but no one ever contacted me back. When I called them back over a week later and asked for an update on the case, no one said they could open the case because it was for "a different department" and again I ran into the issue where no one could help me with this product because its not a PC which is clearly Lenovo's focus. So all in all, this keyboard is ok, but I kind of wish I didn't buy it due to the horrible support from Lenovo that won't stand behind their product. It's an easy issue that could be fixed, but they won't.
