I didn't know the difference, I put about half can of motor protect to my 3 litre engine oil change

I would not! I run both air cooled and water cooled. Even if you run an external filter with air cooled you always change your oil every 3 - 5 k miles! If you normally don't drive your air cooled in winter you should start the car every couple of weeks and run for 10 mins to keep valves and especially lifters coated in oil.
