The MegaChlor will produce chlorine for a period of time and then go into an off-cycle (standby mode) for 3 hours and then repeat. The length of time for the on part of the cycle is determined from the power level setting and is 30 minutes for power level 1, 1 hour for power level 2, and an additional hour per power level.
