Nice solid fan
Purchased this for extra cooling of my Gaming Desktop. Mounting it in the brackets provided in the Desktop went pretty easy. First used the regular screws but quickly switched to the rubber "screws" provided which were much quieter. These you have to insert and grasp the back end and pull them tightly into the screw hole. Easy to do if there is space but a few were difficult to get into place. Well worth the effort however as the fan runs much quieter with them.

Good flow, kinda noisy
So 26 dB is supposed to be just slightly quieter than a whisper (30 dB I believe) but this thing is definitely noisy when plugged into a molex cable. I suppose the term whisper is subjective even with numbers. The airflow is great but it blows outward, less forward and more radially is the best way to describe it. And since it was mounted on the side panel it wasn't blowing directly on my graphics card. Not wanting to have this fan go to waste I instead moved it to the back as my exhaust fan where it became much quieter thanks to PWM, and moved my Cooler Master 120mm Red LED Case Fan - (R4-L2R-20CR-GP) to the side. The results were better than I could have expected. When playing battlefield 3 for a few hours my temps were very low, my card never getting above 78, and whats more the sound from my computer never changing. Even with the gpu fan going it never got much louder than idle. Using my Sound Meter app, my computer is at 19 dB at idle and I will have to measure it some other time when playing a game though it was quieter than just having this fan on the side panel. I deduct one star not only for the noise (though that's less the card and more not understanding what 26 dB sounds like) and for the not quite forward airflow. As far as the red led. It's red, it's a light, looks nice.EDIT: After playing Battlefield for hours, my video card got to 76 degrees as the max and my CPU temperatures to 45. Other temperatures recorded were 53, 66, and 56 as Temps 0, 1, and 2. I do not have my desktop in what I would consider an open space due to spatial limits. The front fan breathes nicely and I would argue the side fan does as well, the rear exhaust fan, however, is only six inches away from the wall. So to see these temps after playing, and considering the less than adequate position of the desktop, this fan does an outstanding job.

Great fans!
Have 3 of these and 3 of their big brothers (140MM Shark fans) and I will be buying 2-3 more of these for my CPU heatsink (big heatsink, fits 3 120MM fans or 3 Phanteks 140MM fans). The LED is bright but not a flashlight and the fans run at a low hum and are working just fine mounted horizontally and vertically in my case!

Worst fan ever! don't buy them.
I have to admit that I was attracted by the low price of this bundle, but these are not the cheapest either, having said that the fans were installed as auxiliary ventilation in an already water cooled rig, thanks god they were auxiliary! Because after two weeks of running at less than 25% of its rated RPM one of them started to make weird noises and suddenly stopped, I didn't wait for the other to fail, I replaced it with a Noctua; lesson learned. Doesn't even deserve the star Amazon forced me to give for this review, don't buy this!

great 120!
Fan came in very nice packaging in decent amount of time. My fan is 120 red color was goodand bright. The fan can really move some air useing it as intake fan in front of my NZXT phanthom. It works way better than those factory nzxt fans. Overall excellent fan not noisy at all even atfull load.

VERY LOUD
I wanted great cooling with low noise, and these are a total fail. Sounds like an airplane running in my living room.

An average fan
I got the Shark fan to replace some coolermaster fans on the side panel of my CoolerMaster Storm Scout. The Coolermaster fans ran at 2000rpm and were loud, had a whine and only pushed about 69 CFM. These Shark fans are a little brighter, run at 1500rpm and are supposed to push about 82 CFM. The package comes with some decent extras like an extra long cable that is sleeved, etc. However, I chose to return this fan because:1. It pushes about the same air as my Coolermaster not more.2. It does not have the whine of my Coolermaster fans, but is just as loud at 1500rpm as the other fans are at 2000rpm.3. I have a fan controller and turning down the Shark produces significantly less CFM, so I would really have no choice but to leave it on at full blast whereas on "low" I get more air out of the Coolermasters.4. The Shark came with bad wiring, jiggling the cable would make power go on/off.I think this fan would be fine for rear exhaust, front intake if with filters (help cut down noise), or on a side panel if the PC is beneath your desk. My computer sits on my desk and I can get an earful from the fans. My hearing also tends to be more sensitive than others so it may not be as obtrusive for other people, but there is no way this fan is under 30dBA noise wise on "power mode". I have a 92mm fan on my heatsink for my cpu that runs about 2700rpm and that's quieter than the shark fan.I'm giving this 3 stars for an average fan with some decent extras.

Nice breeze blowing through the case seems to keep everything ...
Purchased 3 of these for the front of my case (Corsair Air 540) and a 140mm for the rear exhaust fan. I will say they run a bit loud, but I was looking for maximum air flow through the case and I game with headphones on for the most part anyway. No issues at all with the LED's being different colors as other reviews have stated on here. Nice breeze blowing through the case seems to keep everything cool inside, so much so that I can place a sheet of paper on the front of the case and these fans can hold it in place. I recommend these as a cheaper alternative to something like the Noctua or other brands. No regrets on this purchase whatsoever.
