68J24 - Lennox OEM Upgraded Replacement Condenser Fan Motor 1/3 HP 230v

I needed a replacement condenser motor for my old Lennox condenser/compressor. I came across the above company and realized they had an amazon page as well. Im in Arizona and it was 115 out, my warranty company failed to assign someone so I figured I would order the motor and swap it if it came earlier then they would assign a tech. Shipping was scheduled for the following Tues. On sunday I was greatly surprised the motor arrived, expertly packed, 2 days early, and exactly what I needed. My unit is up and running with no issues and its back to livable in the houseWord of caution, if youre replacing a 4-wire motor, this is a 3-wire (in my view, much better option as you can use a dual capacitor instead of 2 single caps) This motor requires a 7.5mfd. If your fan direction needs to be reversed, swap the orange/purple otherwise, extremely easy install (also recommend a fan puller)

Just finished installing this 1/3 HP fan motor. It fits the Lennox 14ACX-060-230-12 and runs smoothly. The shipment was carefully packed in the custom-molded form and delivered on time as scheduled. The motor comes with 3 color-coded wires that match the old part. It's a simple 30-minute DIY job without needing any special tool.

The condenser fan went out on my 12+ year old Lennox AC unit. Most techs that came out to work on it wanted to replace my whole system. Was able to get this and replace myself delaying that major hit for a few more years. Only issue I had was I couldn’t get the fan blade off the shaft of the old motor. Had to get a new one but once I got that in, everything was golden.

Pretty easy to install and fix by old fan motor noise problem. But becaureful not tighten too much to the cover, I ended up broke one screw and have to get a new screw and acorn cap nut.

A simple and quick install on my older lennox unit, shipped quickly so i could get the AC working fully again,.. feel like its moving more air than the old unit did even before it stopped working, a really strong gust coming out of the top of th unit , but still nice and quiet..

It installed very easy and arrived two days early.

This saved me so much money from having to pay a tech to come install a new one. I was able to install myself and so far my refrigerated air unit has been working perfectly.

Loved the price, unit was shipped faster than expected. Showed ETA as 06/26 - 07/01, I received this on 06/20. Needed the air back on and replaced this within about 1/2 Hr. perfect fit and specs. Had initially sent the seller a question about the difference between their model 68J24 vs. what I was looking for which was 68J2401 but did not receive a response. Based on further research on Lenox site, I determined the 68J24 was a Cat# and ultimately the same as 68J2401. Very happy, the house is cooling down as I type. Oh, side note, I did get the unit with one of the attach bolts bent. I screwed a nut on it and lightly tapped it back upright, no issues. Great experience, thanks a bunch.
