Clean area with special cleaning for sticking together
Works well. Used it for car door sealer. Use a cleaner that helps the sticking. Comes with a cleaning pack.

It was very easy to install. It had one or two spots where it didnt stick well but I used some weatherstripping glue on that spot For the most part it's great and leak solved.

Not a 3M product. Poor Quality
The item photos purposefully mislead the buyer to think they are buying a 3M product. The adhesion is week and the stripping will fall off whatever you try to stick it on. Waste of money and time. I would return the product for a refund if I hadn't opened the package and try to install it.
