So schools now require you to buy $100 graphing calculators for class and I figured if I was going to shell out that much I better get something to protect it too. I purchased it to use with at Texas instruments TI-84 Plus, the calculator fits nicely inside and there is a little pocket on the inside that you can store your cable and instruction booklet if needed. The case comes with a little wrist strap if needed for carrying, though my daughter doesn’t use it much because she stores it inside her backpack because she has a lot of other things to carry by hand. It would be nice for those schools that don’t allow backpacks in class; however hers is not one of those so she just keeps her backpack with her. The inside has a soft lining that will not scratch the calculator. The case material/shell itself is a hard fabric flexible covered material; it is not a hard plastic material. This is okay with us as it is still protective and keeps everything together; it looks just like the picture and is just as described. It is hard enough that it will protect the calculator from bumps around in her backpack, or if it is on her desk and she tosses a stack of books down on it. I don’t think it will hold up to a car running over it or a kid standing on it, but nothing in the description says it will so I am not marking it down any stars.

I decided to purchase it, and boy am I happy that I did! It is extremely sturdy. It contains an extra section for extra batteries or cables. The zippers are great quality and haven't given me any problems. The TI-85 graphing calculator fits perfectly and calculators of similar sized and those a bit smaller would too. Also, the price is fabulous for the quality of the product! If you're constantly using your expensive calculator this is a must have!

This fits the TI-84 well with room to spare for other items. Nice and sturdy and protective. Bought this as a replacement for one that broke, and my daughter doesn’t like it as well. This one is bigger than the old case and takes up more room in her binder. She doesn’t need to store anything else in the case, so I wish I’d gotten one that’s smaller. If you just want to hold the calculator, get something else. If you also need to carry some pens or a protractor or something and aren’t concerned about fitting it in a binder, this is a quality piece.

It's like a calculator bed which has a mesh compartment on one side to hold wires, etc. and a strap on the other where I place my calculator. I really appreciate the build of this case. I use this case with HP Prime calculator and it fits okay. However I found the case to bee too big for daily use as it occupies a lot of space in my bag. On other hand this means I can even fit the charger into it as well. Otherwise the case is strong and well built.
