Flawed but inexpensive..
When you get a good one, it's really good!! But unfortunately there appears to be a quality control issue when they leave the factory. I have bought 6 or 7 of these. 2 of them were fantastic. Used them hard for 4 years. Very good reels!, 2 of them were pretty much junk out of the pack. Threw them away 2 or 3 months into there first season. The good thing is that they are inexpensive to buy, so there isn't a big financial lose. I have two more on the shelf that haven't been opened. I'm using another one that's in it's 2nd season. I will continue to use them.

Medium Heavy action reel.Thought it was its. Comes with 10 lb. test line.
Probably due to my misunderstanding of the description but I thought this was a much liter reel than it is or what was delivered. It has 10 lb. test line on it which pretty much says it all. Thought I read a review that said it came with 6 lb. That was my main pointy of research because you really can't tell comparing pictures. I think it will do though. The real itself is actually very nice and feels well constructed.

Shakespeare Triggerspin Reels
Think of it as a closed face spinning reel with a trigger brake. The Ti10U casts so easy it makes lightweight crappie and bream baits and lures easy to cast, and with control I can't get with open spinning reels. And this reel is bigger than the ultralight model, so it will handle the slabs much better. The 10# line is a plus for me too. Overall much more fishable than the ultralight model underspin and much easier than an ultralight spinning reel. thanks

Have Worked perfectly for 2 years and I'm buying more.
I bought 4 of these reels 2 years ago for my grandchildren and nephews, all under 7 years old. We've fished with them at least a half dozen times and they have worked well with no problems at all. Two were washed away by Hurricane Sandy so I'm buying two more. They're solid and easy for a child to use.

I simply replace them with a like product. They are generally great for 3-4 years ...
I once bought all my reels from the local Academy Sports or Bass Pro Shop. But once I found these I have ordered several since. They are relatively inexpensive so when they finally fail, I simply replace them with a like product. They are generally great for 3-4 years and then require replacement. A lot easier than trying to repair...

This is a fine reel, super easy to use
This is a fine reel, super easy to use. THIS IS NOT THE MICRO REEL. I actually ordered it as a companion for my backpacking rod, a 4'6" Shakespeare collapsible rod, obviously it doesn't fit. Again, THIS IS THE LARGE VERSION.
