Excellent Beach BlanketThis is an excellent beach blanket and an excellent purchase! We are avid beach goers and we have used mats and towels and other things, all of which collect an obscene amount of sand. This beach blanket is very user-friendly, large and the sand pockets that run along the edges do the job of holding the blanket down. We tested this in some very windy conditions and it didn’t budge. It also dries quickly and sand does not stick! Even after placing three very sandy, wet children on it for lunch, the blanket dried quickly and the sand slid off when it was time to go. The last thing I will rave about this product is the fact that while it is extra large, it packs up nicely into a very small compact bag. Very happy with this purchase.

I really like the size and material used in this blanket. It's lightweight, reasonably water resistant, and sand brushes right off. BUT, the corner loops where you insert the included tent pegs BROKE the second time we used the blanket at the beach. I specifically bought this product because they advertise a strong and secure corner loop. It made using the blanket difficult on a windy day at the beach. Because it's lightweight, it's very easy for the blanket to catch the wind if it's not pegged down. It's my only issue with this otherwise excellent blanket.

This is an update for the two blankets I recently purchased. Yes they’re still lightweight. Sand brushes off easily. However, SO disappointed that the corner pockets have been removed. They were so perfect for situations when you couldnt use the stakes. Putting a few rocks or even sand in the pockets kept them perfectly in place. Please add them back!!!!What a great blanket! The only thing I wish were different is the size. A little larger would be great. This is very lightweight, perfect for travel and we tested it against the rigors of Hawaii with perfect results. The sand comes off easily and the material keeps your items as clean and dry as possible when you’re at the beach. I purchased 2 and placed side by side it makes a great area. Even in the hot sun the material stayed cool and comfortable. . The stakes work well Including the corner pockets. Highly recommend this! Would buy again!!

Bought this for a trip to Hawaii and to use as a picnic mat on hikes. Served both duties perfectly. Sand did not stick and the wet ground did not seem through to our bums. Also worked as an impromptu beach tent held up by the back window of a Jeep and hiking poles. Definitely recommend.

I love the blanket because it’s good quality & should hold up through my camping & kayaking adventures but the convenient carry bag is a joke. It’s way too small & when my package arrived only the blanket was stuffed into it. They don’t even include the stakes in the contents of the bag. Those were in a separate plastic bag. People that are taking this hiking, to the beach, etc., want everything in the same bag because the number one thing that always gets lost with tents is the stakes & these are even tinier than tent stakes. I also don’t want to have to be a professional origami folder to get the blanket to fit back into the bag. They stated it “easily” fits back into the bag & I’ve tried 3 different times to get it back in there so far & the best I can do is to fold it & shove it into a quart ziplock bag with the stakes. All this being said, the blankets great. The bag is pointless. It looks like I’ll be buying a water proof sack separately to put this & it’s stakes in for my travels.

Bought this for the beach because my one year old does not like to touch the sand. It is labeled as a sand free blanket. While it was a nice blanket, there was nothing sand free about it. The only bonus is that when you get wet sand on it, it does brush right off, and appears to be water proof. Not what I was looking for, but it’s small and portable so will keep it in the beach bag while I try to find a truly sandless blanket.

Great for beach days! Love that it’s a generous size for 1 person, it’s compact, lightweight and easy to fold! There’s a lot of other options similar to this but they are quite large. If you’re beaching solo, this is perfect! But if you want to cuddle with someone special, this is big enough for that. Choose your color! It comes packed in a little reusable bag and it’s user friendly! Easy setup and to put away. It comes with 4 little stakes to help secure it to the ground. It won’t fly away! While this is not sand free, it’s pretty easy to dust off the sand from the surface. It’s also water resistant. But Florida’s sand is extremely fine and some of it stuck to the underside; realized that as I was putting it away. That doesn’t bother me too much. I like to put this down then a towel or two on top for the beach. I love that you can also use this for picnics or hiking trips too. I will definitely take this with me when I go on vacation with carryon only! Very portable; just toss it in the bag!

Love this blanket! Bought it a couple months ago and finally had a beach day to use it. It's perfect size for 2 people and it holds up to the expectation that sand just slides right back off. Best yet, it goes right back into the small bag and you can toss it right into your car and go! I already plan to buy a couple more for family members.

I got this for a trip we are taking our kids on and it’s perfect! It’s good thick/tough material and not cheap gross feeling like a lot of other ones out there. I love that it comes with a handy carry case and tie downs. Highly recommend this!
