Master Fishing Tackle Roddy Hunter LED Lites Spinning ComboDN

I bought this for my wife since she was just getting into fishing, and wanted something "girly". I thought it would be cute and she could at least catch some small bass and sunfish with it. But no, this rod can handle some serious fish no problem. So far this rod has landed anything she has caught from small bluegill to large catfish, including a 11 lb blue cat (took awhile but we got it), a 5.2 lb bass, a 10 lb gar (once again took about 25 minutes but we got it), and a huge turtle. It is very sensitive and you can feel every little strike. Amazing rod, if it wasn't pink I would steal it from her. The reel lights up and looks cute, but amazingly is actually well balanced,smooth, and has a good drag. I have 12 lb Trilene XL line at 3.5 lbs drag and it pulls out smooth with a clicking noise. Anti reverse works great so far. Thought it was just a cute gimmicky rod, but I would put it up against my ugly stick and Shimano reel any day. Sucks I paid 4 times as much for my setup, and there is not that much of a noticeable difference. That and she has been out fishing me lately with this girly pink light up pole. Looks gimmicky but is actually very well designed and engineered for the price.

I told my husband that I was buying a pink fishing pole and he laughed at me... Until that pink fishing pole outfished him at Lake Powell Utah! I'm a novice fisher so I really can't compare this pole to anything but according to my husband, it is a great pole for the price! He liked the "drag" adjustment and the feel of the pole. The only thing we had to do was remove a bunch of the extra fishing line because it was "over-spooled". I was catching 8# +/- Stripers and 4# +/- Smallmouth Bass with ease!

I was hoping to get this rod combo by Valentines day and I certainly did. The reel is a great quality pink reel and the rod of same. My wife thought it was a great gift idea...she just loves it ... she loves fishing. And when you reel the handle it lights up bright and in any lighting, sun or none. I can only imagine at night or evening what it would look like...only time will tell.A great gift idea and it doesn't break the bank. 30 bucks and free shipping! It has lights. and is very light. great for a girl/women just learning how to fish. young kids (girls) love the pink and the lights lol. One of the easiest to cast rods i have ever used (not mine its the GFs) and im comparing it to 200$+ shimanos and penns. this casts as smooth as those. The light action rod bends so nicely for certain spots its easier to cast than even my 200$ rods.

Perfect for my love of pink and fishing. Does exactly what it is supposed to do and gets the attention of fellow anglers.

I like the durability of the product. I finally had to replace the reel after 12 years of use and that includes fresh and salt water use, stateside and overseas 😀

Grandson loves this fishing pole - we used it this past weekend

This pole arrived snapped off at the top and had no crank handle for the reel. I ordered a replacement and will update when it arrives. So far I am NOT happy
