Good conditioner. It works very nicely and I don't have an allergic reaction. Also, not much is needed so it's a good value. Having said that, I found the pump doesn't work well and I replaced it with a flip lid.

Conditioner was received with pump on top broken off. Was going to return it, but didn’t have time (so I cancelled return). Noticed a partial refund later - that was kind. Using with removing remaining top piece each time. Conditioner itself is nice. It is gentle and has a mild, pleasant smell.

I would very highly recommend this product. Has no toxic chemical fragrances or perfumes. Clean smells like "nothing" and this product makes me smell and feel really clean. I have TILT (toxicant induced loss of tolerance) & cannot take the smell of fragrances in products. There is no smell in this product so I really love using it. See docuseries on Netflix "STINK" and go to tiltresearch.org if you cannot take the smell of chemicals. More companies should make products without perfumes or fragrances for people like us because it is the toxic chemicals in these products that is the issue, not "sensitive skin." I do not have sensitive skin, I got sick from chemicals in products and I became "tilted". Thank you for making a wonderful, safe product for me to use. I absolutely love it.

I ordered the set of shampoo and conditioner and was surprised when they arrived because they were different sizes. Clearly, my fault for not paying attention to the details in the listing but, typically, a "set" of things like shampoo and conditioner come in equally sized bottles. Not true for this brand. That aside, the products are fine. I feel like the shampoo does a good job on my scalp without over-drying but it really dries out my hair (even though I try to keep it off as much as possible.) The conditioner is absolutely necessary to keep your hair from feeling like straw after it dries. Even then, I use a light leave in conditioner on my ends because the shampoo strips my hair so much. I recommend washing as infrequently as possible, using the conditioner every single time, and adding a leave in conditioner to your routine. The products have stopped my itchy scalp so it's doing the job it was meant for, I just wish it didn't make my hair feel crunchy in the process.

I have tried so many shampoos and conditioners over the last few years since my hair texture and scalp started changing. My scalp has always been on the oily side, but it suddenly started getting super oily. So I tried lots of different conditioners. I tried only using conditioner on the very ends, skipping every other wash, every two washes, and eventually just leave in. My hair felt okay on the ends, but wasn’t shiny like it used to be. And my scalp was definitely dry and irritated, and even started flaking from it. Finally I tried this conditioner, and my hair feels almost back to normal! Even when I used it directly on my scalp for the first few washes to give my poor scalp some much needed moisture and tlc, my hair wasn’t greasy looking by the end of the day. My hair is shiny again, and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin at all! Even when only using other conditioners on the very ends of my hair, it looked fully dirty by the end of the day. This conditioner is seriously a lifesaver!

This conditioner is the perfect pair to either of Vanicream's shampoos. After a thorough cleansing, it provides moisture, leaving hair feeling silky, and is easy to comb through. I love that the ingredients are safe, and it's unscented. If you can find this with a pump, it will provide better control of how much product is released, adding to it's value. For my med-long, permed hair, I use 3 pumps. I'm extremely impressed with this product.

First, when the other reviewers mention that this conditioner is thick, they mean VERY thick! It is so thick the pump will hardly push itself back up. It is fragrance free. For people with asthma that is triggered by fragrance, this is a big plus. As far as a conditioning hair goes, it does it's job but not as good as other conditioners. The result is my hair is soft but not silky soft. If it was a creamy consistency (less thick), I would probably keep using it.

My hair is unbesmirched by any type of bleach or chemical treatment, which means my hair cuticles are really strong. So strong, in fact, that they won't open up to let any water in. This is called "low-porosity hair". There are only 3 conditioners I have ever used which have been able to successfully conduit water into my hair cuticles:- Suave naturally derived shine conditioner [discontinued 🤬🤬🤬!!!!!!!]- Giovanni 50:50 conditioner- Vanicream conditionerI also have very sensitive skin. I was highly allergic to every grass and weed on my allergy test last year. So botanicals and mystery fragrances are a definite no-go for me. That's why I had to stop using Giovanni conditioner.Thankfully, Vanicream has a soul. It's the one and only conditioner I can use without irritation. It works great without needing to resort to cheap silicones as a bandaid solution for dry hair, and doesn't rely on fragrance to market a sub-par product.If you're curious, I use hello bello fragrance free baby shampoo instead of Vanicream shampoo. I feel like it gets my hair cleaner and it doesn't get oily as fast.
