Rumpelstiltskin (Easy Reading Books) Hardcover – 27 Jun. 1968

This series of ladybird books is fab. we have bought several for my daughter and she absolutely loves them. The stories are, obviously, slightly condensed versions but the children don't know that. The pictures are great for getting their imaginations going and gives them something to look at while you read them the story. The hard-cover is useful as it stops it getting destroyed in 2 seconds flat and the size is perfect for little hands (or big ones).

The older Ladybird books like this one have far, far better illustrations than the newer ones. This is an excellent book with which to entertain (and slightly spook!) your kids. Item was in very good condition and delivery was very fast indeed.

I got this to see with my adult eyes after reading it a lot when I was little. The pictures really brought back old memories. Mine was second hand so was a bit battered, but for a book so old I think it's condition was good and as described by the seller. I love it.

Great to find a childhood book

Zelinsky's artwork makes this. The miller's daughter and Rumplestiltskin are very well rendered (interesting how the former's features reflect careworn stress in some of the scenes) and the style of the interiors have echoes of miniatures from mediaeval illuminated manuscripts. Highly recommended.

Fantastic there is nothing like the original book

My two children (4 and 6) thoroughly enjoyed this book, as with all the books from this set the illustrations are great and the baddies are proper baddies! Although this book is now out of print the secondhand book that I purchased was in excellent condition.

I have all the series - beautiful books - great detail to drawings which are on every other page
