THIS WORKS! Please give it a try!
THIS WORKS! Please give it a try!I normally don't ever write reviews this long, but this is a must!!!Long story short, my 14 year old Chihuahua mix who has a tiny heart murmur, but has never had any issues with her liver, had a blood test back in November 2024 to check how she was doing, and to our surprise her liver enzymes WERE SUPER HIGH...i mean in the 1,600 range. After the vet nurse called me to give me the results, she let me know that the vet was highly suggesting i take her to the ER. I let her know that she didn't seem to be in discomfort and seemed pretty fine, so I would hold off on taking her to the vet, especially because I didn't have the financial means to do so.Hence, I had noticed a lot of peeing and lots of water intake, but nothing too alarming. What bothered me however, is that instead of them providing a suggestion for the time being, they are extremely quick to refer to the most expensive option, which for some people its financially okay, but not for the majority.I had to go out of my way and ask them if they had a suggestion in the meantime or any medication i can try to give her to see if that helped. They put me on hold and the vet prescribed me Denamarin. When I went to go pick them up, they were the size of a nickel, almost close to a quarter size. I was instructed to give her half AND NOT CRUSH IT, but there was no way she was going to eat it, especially because she's extremely picky. I tried researching on other alternatives and ordered a box of Nutramax Denamarin Liver Health Supplement for Small Dogs and Cats - with S-Adenosylmethionine (Same) and Silybin, 30 Tablets. She's roughly about 13 pounds and since the "small" option is up to 12 pounds, I would give her 2 blue pills. One in the morning and one in the evening. They were the size of a small advil and could easily be wrapped in a small piece of chicken. I would give it to her 1 hr before her actual meal.I know that it states to be given on an empty stomach, but putting it in a piece of chicken was fine, no issue. After a few days, they wanted me to go back within a week to get more blood tests done, but i waited a few months instead because what was the point of going so soon. I was just going to pay the $220 fee and nothing was going to change within i week -__- ....its common sense to be honest lol. After researching even more, I noticed one user say that they tried a combination of the Denamarin with Milk Thistle drops. I purchased this brand towards the end of November 2024 as well, and was adding it to her food after the 1 hr mark had passed of giving her the Denamarin. After a month passed by, i started to notice that she was not peeing as much as she use to and the water intake normalized. However, she kept having diarrhea. I was concerned that probably the liver enzymes were still very high, which was the cause of the diarrhea. However, towards the beginning of January 2025, i stopped giving her the Denamarin and was only giving her the milk thistle drops. The diarrhea seemed to have stopped and not only did her water intake normalize, but also her peeing.I decided to take her for an updated blood test on February 17th and got the results back on February 20th.HER LIVER ENZYMES SHOWED THEY HAD GONE DOWN FROM 1, 688 TO 133. Still a bit over the number window by like 4 numbers, BUT IT WAS AN ENORMOUS PROGRESS. I WAS SO HAPPY AND THANKFUL!I had a follow up with the vet who was also stunned about the results and when i told her i was giving her milk thistle drops, you could tell she was not as excited (same issue when you mention to doctors about natural supplements).I honestly don't care what she thought, results were there and IT WORKS.I'm not a professional of any sorts, but i try to research as much as possible and try things that can help my fur baby, and I'm thankful I did. If you have a fur baby that may have liver enzymes as high as mine and you don't have the financial means to go to the ER vet, please give the combination of Milk thistle and Denamarin. Obviously if you see that one of the products may be causing issues, then stop immediate use. But you don't lose anything with giving it a try! Even if it's just the milk thistle drops! :""""D

Best liver recovery supplement out there!
This product was recommended to me by my vet after my Minpin had to have emergency splenectomy. He said the liver had to work double time after such a major event and to use 1 drop per pound of body weight once a day for 7-10 days, then wait 3 months and repeat. This cleanses toxins from the liver and encourages the growth of new liver cells. After about 3 days, my 10 year old dog was noticeably perkier and stronger on his feet. His prognosis after surgery was very poor, but in 2 weeks he will celebrate the 6th anniversary of that very major surgical event. I'm so happy for the wise advice of my vet. Turbo is 16.5 now and still active in small spurts. We're so grateful to stil have him.

Effective product and well packaged
I used this to help my dog through a period where I believe she’d ingested a toxin. Her liver bloodwork was bad enough that one vet diagnosed terminal liver disease. Fortunately that diagnosis was wrong, and her liver values are back to normal. I noticed a distinct improvement in her symptoms when I started adding this to her food. I sought out milk thistle because I already knew it was a potent herb for the liver. I had no trouble getting her to eat this in her food, and every bottle has been well sealed with no leaks. I probably went through about 12-15 bottles (I have an 80 lb dog) over the last year. I recommend this product.

Easy to give
Not sure that we saw any real changes in our dogs health, her liver numbers didn’t change as the Vet hoped.

We took her back to the vet - the jaundice was worse. The vet looked heartbroken to tell me and ...
I am compelled to write this review because this product I am convinced saved our cat. Our vet thought we should put her down on October 7 - liver failure from some sort of poison. Prior to that we found she was loosing weight and not eating - then she disappeared for a few days. We found her outside under the deck lethargic and so thin. We took her to the vet and they admitted her for a few days - she was on IV and antibiotics. She was very jaundice. This is when the vet said it was some sort of poison that she must have consumed somehow. She seemed to recover a bit so we took her home and were force feeding her food from the vet with a syringe, with vitamins (a tonic) and antibiotics. She was home about three days and seemed to go downhill again rapidly. We took her back to the vet - the jaundice was worse. The vet looked heartbroken to tell me and my crying daughters that we should put her down - that her liver was just failing. I asked if she was in pain and he said no so I asked if we could take her home to say goodbye to the girls and my husband (this was a Sat) and we’d bring her back Monday to put her down. The vet thought that was fine. It was a painful day. That night I just googled something like “my cat’s liver is failing” and got this product and read the reviews so ordered it. We fed her everyday with a syringe and about 15 to 20 drops a day each. Our cat was completely emaciated - just a bag of bones. No energy. She would not eat or drink and just slept all day. She, Luna, is only five by the way. This was not like her. So days and days of force feeding - the insides of her ears were the color of lemons - I’m wondering if I am a horrible mom prolonging this for my girls when two days ago, Luna seemed to enjoy her food. She was lapping it from the syringe — then that night, she groomed herself! (She’s pretty stinky and matted) and the next day, she was lapping her food from the spatula and I cried. That day, she ate some kibble and today ate Tuna fish with all the manners of a starving dog. She’s purring like mad right now and kneading her cat bed. She’s got so much more energy - she tries to jump on the window sill and misses (which is sad and encouraging). If you have a sick pet - or hopeless as we did - do give this stuff a try. It’s incredible - a life saver.
