JSB Match Exact King Mk.II Heavy .25
JSB seems to be the go-to pellet for many shooters when they want to start testing a rifle to find a pellet it shoots best with. They are for me. After shooting a dozen different pellets from H&N, JSB, Predator and Crossman I shot the best groups with JSB Exact King Mk. II Heavy 33.9 grain pellet. One hole at 15 meters (in doors). The other JSB pellets all shot almost as well. The rifle is a Daystate Huntsman Regal. If you have not found a pellet that will shoot well in your rifle, try starting with a pellet of medium weight for your caliber. For instance 14 grains for .22 and 25 grains for .25 caliber Amazon carries the JSB sampler package with different weights. In my experience as well as others, round nose pellets generally shoot best. They penetrate well and often carry the best ballistic coefficient. BC is important for hunters and long range shooters. The heavy pellets will have the best BC giving more retained velocity and energy down range. At long range even though the heavy pellet starts out slower than the light pellet. The light pellet will slow down sooner and the heavy will cruise on by carrying more energy than the light pellet started out with. If you gun can handle the heavy pellets that is.

great but not excellent.
these 33.95 grain MkII's shot out of my HATSAN 135 VORTEX QE .25 CAL with an average velocity of 610.8 FPS, giving me 28.13 FPE at the muzzle. The accuracy was decent, 5 shot groups at 20 yards produced 0.5"- 1" groups HOWEVER I consistently had 1 flyer in almost every group. When this happened I simply shot an extra pellet, meaning I shot a total of 6 pellets, 5 of those pellets grouped together at 0.5"- 1" groups while the 1 flyer hit off to the side. If you count all 6 pellets the groups open up to 1.3"- 1.5" groups. The 28.13 FPE is awesome for hunting but I wont be using these for that due to the consistent flyer. Although tbh 1.5" groups would probably be fine on whatever your hunting with this combo.

JSB Match Exact King Mk.II Heavy .25
An excellent pellet. Very accurate and delivers a solid punch. One of the most accurate for my Daystate Huntsman Regal .25. Of course that is no guarantee that it will perform as well from your rifle but it is certainly worth testing. JSB has a well deserved reputation for accuracy for many rifles but then no two guns are the same. I have both a .22 Huntsman Classic and a .25 Huntsman Regal. Both perform very well with JSB pellets so I highly recommend them. You will have to see if they are up to your standards in your rifle. Many shooters blame the ammo for being a poor product when it doesn't deliver the accuracy for their rifle. It is simply a matter of testing until you find the pellet or pellets that shoot well in your gun. The same holds true for powder burners. 50 years of shooting have shown many surprising results from testing projectiles and guns. Top quality pellets are made to certain specs. Will they work in your gun? Go shooting and enjoy the accurate as well as the not so accurate so you'll know. Good excuse to spend the day shooting.

Most consistent Pellets!
These pellets were THE most consistent out of 4 different .25cal pellets I tested in my new Benjamin Trail NP XL725. See my Youtube channel " unionrdr's channel" for the episode where I chrono test it for details. Anyway, here's the numbers for this King .25; low 658FPS/24.41FPE high 679/26.00 AVG 671.83FPS Std Dev 8.68. and just the numbers for the 6 shot group;1) 676/25.772) 678/25.923) 679/26.004) 676/25.775) 664/24.866) 658./24.41See what I mean about consistency? They don't give the top numbers of a pellet like the H&N DFTT 19.91gr, but they are very close to one another numbers-wise. Well worth the price!

Best power & accuracy in my Gauntlet .25 .
I think at 33.95gr these are mostly for PCP though i would try them in a break barrel Hatsan 125 or a similar powered rifle just to see. I can tell you i tried the first of these pellets and the skirts did not fit the bore of my mod 125 and those tins are effectively paper weights the Mark II however are as far as i can tell perfect in my new Gauntlet .25 and with the weight of these they can deliver quite enough FPE out past 50yds for mid sized varmints and so far out to 50yds in my testing group well. The skirts on these are heavy duty and do not seem to suffer any from being used in the magazine.

DIFFERENT product!
I can't review the Heavy .25 cal pellet, because I bought the Heavy .30 pellet! However, the .30 pellets are great for my use. "Regular" .30 pellets weigh .45.75 gr, the "Heavy" pellets weigh 50.15 gr. The heavier pellets cause more damage when shot into the same plywood target backing, and are also more accurate when fired from my Hatsam rifle.I have zero experience with .25 caliber pellets.Mike Holmes

The hatsan liked them better than the maurader did
Shot a bunch of these through my at 44-10 and my maurader. The hatsan liked them better than the maurader did. Could be the glass is better on the hatsan, or I just need to make minor adjustments to the maurader. I'm still tweaking both trying to find the best ammunition for each one. Guns can be finicky. That's why I gave 5 stars. Both guns did good with them. Just one did better than the other one did. I plan on ordering more and I'm hoping to get both guns shooting them with consistent accuracy so I can hunt with them. I do like this pellet cause when I'm looking at the open tin full of pellets I see a lot of good looking pellets that show lots of uniformity which tend to give consistent results, which in turn helps me fine tune my guns to get them shooting like I like.
