Like others have noted: The idea is great. But, they come in short on execution... Or, in this case, long. When standard 9" pans are actually 9" OD, the ID is less – coming in 3/16ths under 9". Compound that with parchment that's cut 1/16th OVER, aaaaand you got a frustrating conundrum. Fortunately for me, I have a commercial cake pan that is actually a true 9" ID, so the 1/16th difference equates to a virtually inconsequential 1/32nd difference.... yeah, in other words, they're fine for me.Unfortunately, my case is the rare exception, and I understand the more popular complaint.Bottom line – These 9" papers are a bit too large for the majority of US 9" pans. To be "a shave" under would be far more ideal.

Not the right size
Too big for bottom of my 9" cake pan. Can be cut done sure, but that's not why I bought the precut parchment circles.

Works perfectly
The parchment rounds perfectly fit my 7-inch spring-form pan. It bakes very well and slides out of the spring-form very easily. It's a great time-saver, so I don't have to cut the round from the parchment roll, and it lays perfectly flat.I baked a sponge cake with a round as soon as I received them.

These are thicker and larger than normal
These are thicker and larger than normal. If it doesn’t fit totally flat in your pan it will cause indents in your cake layer which isn’t good if you need to make a naked cake. It’s fine if you’re covering your cake with buttercream. Just remove the paper carefully starting at one side and slowly pull it up or else you can end up taking out a chunk of your cake if the paper slightly goes up the sides of your pan.

Does what I need it to do and saves cutting parchment circles myself!
I got these primarily for my 9" spring form pan. They don't quite lay flat in the bottom of it, but I just spread a very light coat of oil to help the parchment circle cling. For my regular 9" cake pan, I just press them in and the edges come up the side a little bit, but they stay in place pretty well. I love them. I usually buy the big rolls of parchment paper at Costco, and that's great for lining a baking sheet, but I hate trying to line anything that won't just fit the rectangle I tear off of the roll. If you've been tracing and cutting your own circles or just hoping that your cake won't leave any chunks stuck to the bottom of your cake pan, I recommend these parchmen circles. They come in different sizes and help eliminate unnecessary stress.

Almost
Cake pans are not exactly 9inches but the paper is. I have to cut some off. The paper is good and would have given a 5star but I still have to trim. Maybe the 8 inch will work since 9inch cake pans true size are like 8.5 inches

A MUST Have for Cake Bakers! (A++)
I purchased these for a 7" cake pan and they fit perfectly. I buttered my pan, dropped in the parchment round and poured my batter over the top. Came out of the pan very cleanly and paper released smoothly from the cake once it had cooled. These are a must have . . will be purchasing them in other sizes to have on hand for future baking.

Larger than 9 inches
Purchased these for comparability with a 9 inch spring form pan and they are approximately 1/4 inch too wide. Otherwise they are very thick and work decently.
