They are warm and they last.
The best mittens. They keep your havds toasty warm. We have been buying theses for years. My husband used to work outside in the winter. The pair he had before he retired just finally gave up, and he had them 2 years before that. They are the best.

Warmth and Reliability in these Mitts!
These mittens are a winner year after year. My husband and I have used them during our cold and snowy New England winters until they wear out, and then we order another pair. We appreciate the quality and warmth in the midst of the coldest weather, even when they get wet!

Exceptional mittens; great value. Read why
I bought a pair each of these for myself & my son. I wear a size 10 1/2 glove, and these fit fine with room to spare. My son prefers to wear these with a pair of windproof over-mitts which he claims has kept him warm the high winds at 10 degrees here in Wisconsin. I wear them with a pair of wool liner gloves (plenty of room for these to fit) & have warm hands in the same conditions. The outer shell is a very heavy 85% wool and 15% nylon. I believe that the deciding factor in this mittens ability to provide exceptional warmth is the inner liner which a terry-looped construct of 67% acrylic (for moisture wicking), 23% wool and 10% nylon. While not windproof, cold, windy conditions can be minimized by using one of the techniques mentioned above. The looped liner aids in providing warmth, blocking wind, and helps keep hands dry and warmer by wicking away perspiration.Another advantage over most mittens is the long cuff that extends well onto the forearm, further than most regular gloves do and as far as even the best wool liner gloves. I have yet to find an unheated glove that keeps my hands warm over an extended period of time, but these keep me warmer longer (with my liners) than any other mitts that use hot packs or are battery-heated. (The roominess of the gloves, though, will certainly accommodate chemical hand-warmers.)As with other Fox River wool products, these are sturdily constructed (now in Haiti) and, based on my experience with this brand, I expect that they will provide many years of service. Plan on washing these by hand and letting them air-dry. A definite value purchase.

They’re *huge*
They seem very warm. But keep in mind that the size is relative to a full grown man’s hands. Small means small for a full grown man. I got a pair of large ones as a gift for my brother (an average sized guy), thinking they were more of a unisex sizing. I’m short, but the large were almost as long as my forearm!! It was too late to return, so I just gave them to a very, very tall male cousin. However, if you can get the sizing right, they seem quite warm. Not waterproof obviously, but they’ll be great for driving and casual wear in zero/subzero temperatures (upper Midwest)

As advertised- very thick and warm.
These are very fluffy and warm. Ordered them for my husband for the cold outside work because his hands just freeze, even with the battery powered gloves. These remind me of hiking sockets that are like a cm thick. I have confidence they will hold up for a while and keep him warm.

Sizing was off
I want to love these but I bought two sizes and the larger pair was wayyyy to big and the smaller pair were wayyyy to small. I thought they were well made and looked cute in a simple way but they just didn't work for me. I am 5'4 with a size small/medium in most winter hiking mitts if that might be helpful.

Warmest Mittens Ever
These are the warmest mittens I have found. I've purchased them many times for all of the women in my family. They are a bit expensive, but have been worth the price. Just line dry after washing as they will shrink in the dryer (I learned that the hard way. But after they shrunk, they were the perfect size for a kid, so I gave them to a teenager to use).
