Work well but beware of stiff CAT6 wire
Once I changed my crimp tool, and if I insert the wires in the proper sequence, I'm getting really good connections. I have an older, but barely used, Allen Tel AT580 and it works fine. However, I just tried this with some CAT6 solid wire where the individual wires were really stiff, so they were hard to make real straight when un-twisting the pairs. When I went to pull them through these plugs, the conductors sometimes "walked" between the pins and even got stuck between pins, and I had to pull the wires out and start over. No issues typically with CAT5x or stranded wires.BTW the absolute best way to load up these type connectors is to strip 2 1/2 to 3 inches of the jacket and insert the wires into the connector one or two at a time. Bend each wire down at the end of the plug after about 1/4 inch sticks out so they don't pull back easily. When all wires are pulled, trim the excess, pull the wires back a bit so they don't stick out the end of the plug, and crimp! However in general, I find it easier and less time-consuming in many cases to crimp on an RJ45 jack and use a short prebuilt RJ45 to RJ45 male to male jumper.

Bad end of connectors
I paid over $50 and none of connectors cuts complete and had to use knife to peal and make it work
