I bought this for the kids to stick handle on while using their balance board in the family room (don't judge). It is the perfect thickness to use on carpet & it's the perfect size to slide under our couch when it's not being used. Also, the kids use this to stick handle on while watching TV, great for practicing with your head up.

This pad is very slippery and is great for shooting practices. I was at first very skeptical about the supposed ice-likeness, but it is indeed slippery enough to have a regular puck glide on it for a bit of stickhandling. My only regret is that I should’ve bought a larger size. We haven’t used it for long, and I would be interested to see how long it lasts with two boys, and if we can retouch the surface to make it slippery again.

Although it does bend and get stained by the puck marks, it works well! I may have to try to wipe it down just in case to see if that works. Just make sure you leave it on a flat surface! It will flatten out over time and use if it does bend a little.

Due to the quarantine our two hockey players have been missing lots of ice time. This sturdy product has given our kids the ability to each get in hundreds of shots each day. And it’s so easy for them (9&8 years old) to carry into the garage on raining days for training.

It is a great surface to practice small puck handling drills. Ultimately I ended up buy a bigger surface because I would run out of room fast. But if you want something for a small space or easy to travel with, this is a great product. It feels just like ice with a normal puck.

Unfortunately was delivered with significant gash/defect. No obvious damage to packaging so assume quality issue.
