I got this strictly for kitchen/food purposes. In some recipes to make crispy pork skin (Chinese roast pork, pork belly confit, etc), there is a step were the outer skin needs to be punctured. There are all sorts of implements for this purpose but I found this spinning wheel to be the best. It is sharp! When pressure is applied, it does puncture the pork skin and at the end, results in a delicious crispy and fluffy layer.Some things to consider:- It rusts. I recommend hand washing and immediately drying it (put it somewhere with air flow) as soon as you can- If you are looking for something for crispy pork skin, I think the single spinny one works better because you don't have to use much pressure to make the holes. This might make a difference if the piece of pork is delicate and can't hold up to too much pressure.

I have two of these so I can use one in each hand. The tiny little spikes on five separate Wheels makes it run over the skin causing a very nice Sensation that lingers. It is Made very well and it is easy to hold in your hand!Run it over your hand and wrist or the inside of your thigh to see what kind of pressure you may want to use on your partner. It really does have a nice tingle!

When received, the five wheels wobbled quite a bit. I solved that by adding two additional #6 flat washers (spacers) between the outer wheels and the frame, then adjusting the screw and using Loctite to set it. The wheels are straight and true now.

The pin wheel is my favorite!!! It did squeak when we first purchased it, so we had to tighten it up. It provides great sensation to the skin, whether there is light or heavy pressure. The single wheels are nice as well, but I find this one to be a great starter!!
