Excellent quality.
Why did you choose this product over others?:Good looking and well made item. Leather is excellent quality and has a rustic look. Price is very good and looks excellent value for money - bonus is that it takes Filofax items - would recommend !

Would make a great gift - but this one’s mine!
After having a Filofax Personal for many years, which gave great service, I decided a change, in size as much as anything, was overdue. I have leather A4 binders and folders, so wanted something smaller than A4, but perhaps a bit bigger than the Personal. At first I considered another Filofax, but when I spotted the Wanderings A5, I was intrigued. I went for it, and I’m delighted with my choice! The Journal is very nicely made, with soft, supple leather, solid fittings, and a delightful aroma. The size is perfect for my needs, the supplied inserts very versatile, and the method of closure works so well. And the price was just right too!So I can definitely recommend this for anyone who wants a journal/organiser/diary which looks great, smells great, and isn’t too big to lump around!

Superb quality leather organiser with quality inserts as a bonus.
I’ve been using a Filofax (personal organiser size) for about 35 years - it’s still in excellent condition (and has some sentimental value). I’ve looked on several occasions for an A5 organiser of similar quality and never found one. This looked like the ideal solution and so I bought it with relatively low expectations about the quality because it’s so much cheaper than the Filofax equivalent which I think is only ok from a leather quality perspective. I’m so happy I took the risk - it’s absolutely superb. I didn’t pay too much attention to the inserts because I treat them as a consumable but they are very high quality and a bonus. But the real point of the purchase is the leather organiser - it’s just great. Feels great, looks great, smells great and I suspect it will wear very nicely.

Good value
This organiser has a very soft distressed leather look, hold a diary, but those who want to add extra items eg notes, address book, organiser etc it does not have a large ring binder. It is great for those who are looking for a decent diary holder without too many extras it is perfect, looks good and is great value

Beautiful leather!
Comes with monthly planning sheets and also some generic note paper at the back, so you have plenty to get started. The leather is smooth.

Not as hoped
This was very scratched. The stiching for the pen holder shows on the other side and is very untidy.

Very pleased so far. Pen loop could be improved.
This is intended as my one and only notebook to replace the excessive number of ordinary card-backed notebooks I have.So far I am very pleased: it looks and feels very nice, opens flat, and takes FiloFax-style A5 inserts. (The A5 inserts are very important to me because I can slot in the types of page I want. Curiously the perpetual calendar inserts had a minor misprint: the tab for October is printed as "Otc".)I'm not rating the durability or sturdiness just yet as I've only had it for one day so far.About the pen loop: I feel it ought to be closer to the page edges because if you put a pen in it now, the bulk of the pen is resting on the surface of the binder and protrudes slightly. Possibly this might interfere with protruding page tabs, but that would not matter too much in my opinion. And maybe the loop should be elastic instead of leather to hold a thin pen.
