Lots of fun for baby!
This toy is a hit! Soft with structure to it so it stays true to its intended form. Nice bright colors and each toy is easy to grab with unique sounds to each one. Babies love to grab the toys and place them back in, all the while viewing what’s inside the aquarium. Lots of fun and engaging playtime with this toy!

I TOOK A CHANCE AND WON!
At first glance, this may appear to be a very simple, really simple toy. But looks can be deceiving as they were for me when I was searching for that perfect toy for my grandson who is 9 months old. At first, I did pass it by without a second look because I was sure there was nothing he could do with this toy and have any fun let alone learn anything. Boy, was I wrong. After searching the web for several hours (we know how that goes, don't we?) I returned to the Amazon toy department. I have now learned that if you are looking for toys, shop no further than Amazon! I purchased this My First Fishbowl, and when I received it, I was just about bowled over at how cute it was. There are so many details about this toy that a toddler of 9 months won't remember until he's about 2! Each fish is different. Each fish makes a different sound. Each fish is a different color in different fabrics new to a baby's touch. Then, there's the fishbowl itself! It is made so well of such quality material that my grandson found it just as much fun to play with the empty bowl. The inside of the bowl is actually lined with a pillow-soft, satin, water-design fabric that is very attractive to the little ones. The clear sides are of touch vinyl that won't give way to any abuse by someone for whom this is made. It's so neat that even I like playing with it. This is as good as it gets, and I hope to purchase more toys made by Lamaze. If you want fun--if you want learning--you get both with this toy.

The perfect toy of any small child!
This toy is a sure fire hit for any infant and toddler out there! The fact that you could see their little faces in the fish bowl and each one is so soft is enough to please your child. Plus, there's the added bonus of having them throw the toys across the room and they would not cause any harm to anyone (although the possibility of knocking something off the table still exists, so be wary). My only complaint is that I liked the first version of the fishbowl released by Lamaze many years ago (the one with the blue shelled Squeaky Clam with the red face), but this is just a personal preference and it forgivable because the golden Jingle Fish is cuter than the other Jingle Fishes in other sets.If you want to give your child a toy that makes really fun sounds and will be less than likely to make them choke, this toy is your best bet! Just watch out if they want to use your actual aquarium as a live version of this adorable toy. Also, in case you're wondering, that is clearly a clam instead of an "oyster" as the box has you believe.

Fun and Adorable
Lamaze toys are always cute and colorful. I bought this for my house for my granddaughter to play with. She is almost 6 months old and is just now an age appropriate toy. All of the fish make different sounds. A really cute toy.

Adorable Learning Bowl
I bought this toy for my daughter when she was three months old. That was, perhaps, ambitious on my part. She didn't really "play" with it, but did enjoy it when I squeeked the clam or rattled the yellow fish. She's now 8 months old and as she's gotten older, this toy has been a keeper. I can take it with me, dump in the four toys that come with it and a couple other rattle balls, and it'll keep her company, amused, and happy for visits, eating out, picnics, etc. She's JUST starting to understand the clear plastic sides and the need to reach into the bowl to grab the toys as opposed to trying to break through the sides to get at what she can see but not reach. I like that it's teaching a form of permanence. Mostly, though, I like that this is something that I've gotten lots of use out of with the little one. Not her very favorite toy at any given time but a keeper nonetheless.

Adorable!
My 6-month-old is fascinated by this toy! The current picture is what I received (it's not the one with the water in the plastic and the less colorful creatures that are in the reviewer photos), but my son seems to really love the fishbowl. The crab is his favorite; it has ribbons on the claws which are made out of a satiny fabric which crinkles. The clam has a squeaker (which he laughs at - it's great for distracting him when he's crying); the goldfish has a bell; and the starfish has a fairly quiet rattle (it's probably my son's least favorite of the four). The top and bottom of the bowl are a soft velvety fabric and the bowl itself is a soft, flexible fabric. Even with all 4 creatures in it, the bowl is light enough for my son to pick up and hold, and he loves to put in and take out the creatures. We'll often balance it on his exersaucer for him, and it tends to hold his attention for a significant amount of time.
