It's Pea Gravel
It's pea gravel, I don't really know what else to say! It was the best price I could find for the amount that I needed without having to over order a large amount from a local supplier or load & haul myself.It works for it's intended purpose. The gravel pieces are pretty small, but that's what pea gravel is. The colour is pretty if you want to use it for a top layer in a garden bed. You could easily clean the gravel with some water if you wanted to make more colours pop out.

Go to the hardware store and get this for $6! Nothing special about this stone accept it’s way dustier than what we got at the local building store.

Don’t waste your time - very expensive for a very small amount.
Pea gravel delivered. 12 of these 40 pound bags barely covered less than 20 square feet at a one inch depth. Don’t waste your money !!!!Order a similar item from a local stone yard - pea gravelCosts $40 per yard which cost me over $500 and it covered a fraction of what I needed.Then I chose to purchase an additional 4 cubic yards for $250 from a local quarry and it covered over 200 square feet at a 4 inch depth.
