They work great
These are my go-to breakout cables. They're reliable and I've used several sets over the years as my server has grown. Haven't had any issues.

Best Function, Best Value, Treat with Care.
I've tried several different kinds and these ones just perform and work reliably far better than the competition... (what competition? The others suck!)The only drawback to these coords is that the blue section of the cord is a bit frail, if you expose it to tight turns or things rubbing against it, they will break. Even then however they may still function and still better than the competition does bran new.Not really sure why the others didn't work, especially since the others where the approved cords for the other parts i was using them with. But anyway, These work, competition does not.

Perfect for setting up my NAS with SAS drives
You just need enough SATA power connectors to run the drives and these cables will take care of the data. I used this with an LSI sas 9207-8i controller and they worked flawlessly. I've seen other comments that the cables are fragile, but I haven't had any issues. Great value for the money!

Need better retention
The cable is easy to use..it's a cable! This may not be an issue in a real server case, but in my tower I was moving something else in the case and the SAS connector popped free of the drive with very little force. Since you don't usually poke around in the case once things are running it's probably not a big deal, but was annoying at the time. Still gave it 4 stars for the value and convenience of the 2 pack.

Works with sata, not for sas
This cable works with a LSI 9702 HBA card for SATA drives, but for me, didn’t work with SAS drives.*** Update: If your SAS drive isn't working (spinning up), it's a pin 3 issue most likely. Tape the pin or use a molex to sata power plug.

Worked to connect a SAS controller directly to an LTO drive.
Bought this for use with my SAS LTO5 drive and it works like a champ. Used an IBM ServeRAID M1015 cross-flashed to LSI9211-8i IT mode, and a Quantum TC-L52AN-EY-C drive. This cable is long enough to reach from the fifth PCI-E slot on my board up to the drive in the top slot of my case. The build quality probably could be better but I don't foresee an issue as this is for a personal machine, not a server getting rebuild all the time. I know the review and products don't also seem to line up on Amazon... I bought the "CableDeconn Mini SAS 36 SFF-8087 to (4) SFF-8482 Connectors With SATA Power 1m".

Works as intended. No issues.
Used for connecting SAS hard drives to an HBA card in my unRAID server. Worked perfectly fine. SATA power passes through.

Gets the job done well, but was very careful when installing
The connectors seem good and the braided section is solid. The individual wires however seem pretty flimsy and I handled with great care. The mini sas part seems a little looser than other breakouts I have tried but not a huge deal. I am more worried of the small gauge single wires over time. However, I am currently using two with a LSI expansion card with no issue.
