A close to perfect Cast Iron Kadai for cooking

Review UpdateAlmost after 2 years of usageThis kadai is still doing a great job with almost close to good quality( close to 90%) of food cooked in the same condition as how it was cooked when purchasing.However the texture wise, as it’s been 2 years, this is neither perfectly smooth now nor too hard inside. However, observing only some outside part ( like 30 % of outside surface) is slowly started to show signs of brownish rusting. But the good news is none of it is still affecting the quality of food cooked in it.The weight seems to have reduced to 1.929 kg from 2 something kg when purchased. Has it melted enough of prolonged heat usage. Not sure.Attached all images and video for your purchase decision.So far, so decently good enough. Will still keep you posted on further longevity after some more years of usage. Happy cooking. : )We have been using this for the past 6 months and the fries cooked in this kadai comes out very crispy.Attached images to show how crispy and non sticky the potato fries have turned out to be when cooked in this.Can’t comment on the longevity as of now, since it’s only been 6 months of usage. Will keep updating this review after 1 or 2 more years of usage.

Excellent - will last a generation or two!!
To be honest, I did not expect it to be so good - considering the price point - If you're not into labels and enamelled finishes like me, this will be my go to company for cast iron - Le Creuset is just so expensive and I've have a number of those. This is even better value than Lodge.Just ensure that you clean and dry it meticulously. When cooking acidic foods, re -season and store.
