Plugs 50 Cubes

What a great name for seed-starting plugs. They work, too. I have experienced excellent results both for winter sprouting and summer seed starting outside. Leftover plastic containers from frozen foods and kitchen products make useful trays for the plugs in a sunny spot indoors or on the patio/balcony in the shade. Keep water in the tray so the plugs are always damp and you will soon see tiny green leaves emerging from the hole at the center of the plug. This assumes you actually got the seed into the center. I have had them sprout even from out on the edge. This type of plug is better, in my opinion, than the all-peat variety I made the mistake of trying because they were slightly cheaper. In this case, you get what you pay for.When your seedling reaches about two inches or you see roots growing out of the bottom of the plug, transplant into a four inch pot or directly into the soil (after hardening off if you have sprouted your seeds indoors). Or you can sink the plug into the soil of the four inch pot right from the beginning and keep the whole pot in a tray with an inch of water in the bottom, which will wick up and keep the soil and plug damp. Starting your own plants from seed is eminently satisfying and cost effective, too. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Absolutely love these cubes. So easy to use and I had 100% success with the first bad of 50. Will be using these for propagation from now on.

Better than the other ones i was using, the shape is conformed to some standard unlike the others which were more or less randomly shaped.Happy with product, will replace old ones with it.

I love these - absolutely perfect for starting seeds. My germination success rate with cannabis seeds is 100% (quality, viable seeds are a necessity, of course), which is a little better than with rockwool cubes. Equivalent to a popular "rapid" competitor. Nothing is better, as these hold just the right amount of water with a perfectly airy texture to promote fast root growth with little chance of rot from too much moisture. Excellent for cloning from cuttings as well as seeds, and compatible with soil, soilless mixes, and every hydroponic variant I'm aware of. Organic too, and absolutely worth every penny.

Seeds that I have in these are starting faster and stronger than the ones in my other seed starting soil. Also has less issue with mold from the wetness of the tray. Definitely ordering these again
