I love this product. It's sturdy and reasonably priced. I've already used it well over 100 times. I use it every time I practice dryfiring. The kit has 3 magazine inserts and a breech-loaded "safety indicator" that blocks the chamber and barrel to ensure you cannot actually chamber a round. The safety indicator can be cut to a shorter length if you want. The magazine inserts prevent the magazine lock from engaging when you work the slide, so you can reset the striker for dry fire practice. There are 3 of them so you can practice magazine changes, I guess. But if you're reading this you probably knew all that. The product works as advertised. I use it in combination with a laser cartridge. It's a good low-budget alternative to those SIRT trainers that cost almost as much as the real gun. You do have to manually work the slide after every shot, which isn't ideal for training value, but that's the obvious trade-off for saving money. My only complaint is that, while it costs a lot less than a SIRT, the price is surprisingly high considering it is 4 small pieces of molded plastic.

When I see the orange plastic sticking out of the barrel, I know that the dummy round is chambered.I like this visual peace of mind. I highly recommend it. BarrelBlok is available for 9mm & .45 ACP.

For the price, I think they could have included more barrel blocks. I know everyone has to support the business, but if the fixed costs are so high, include some more of the units.
