The Land of Stories: The Ultimate Book Hugger's Guide Paperback – August 4, 2020

The positives of the text is how much information the book gives you and is full of imagination and exciting stories that are hidden from the books. Chris gives a lot of background information to the characters and landmarks. Full of imagination and excitement, this book is highly recommended for both young and older audiences

This guide is a terrific companion to the Land of Stories. It tells the inspiration for the characters, profiles for the characters, sketches of the characters. It contains some plot notes that weren't implemented a mock interview between Mother Goose and the author plus some other goodies. It probably isnt a book you would want to read before completing the main series but maybe you could read through it prior to the final two books and not have too much spoiled, if anything, in my opinion. My 12 year old and 9 year old loved this companion and forced me (the adult dad) to read and I also found it to be essential reading to get some more depth to the background of the characters. Well worth the purchase!

My daughters both loved the Land of Stories series. This was a great way for her to visualize the characters and learn more about them after we finished all of the books. Perfect series to read together with your kids.

My kids can't put it down, it's a book they referred to over and over again. It was a favorite at our extended family camping trip.

This is a great series and this book put all the characters in one place with detailed description.

In fact she talks about them so much, it reminds me of some dates I went on in the 80's and 90's with guys who could not stop talking about Star Trek. It's that extreme. But Kudos to Chris Colfer for knowing how to reel in these young readers and keep them so engaged, its tough to talk about anything else! Bravo!

This is the last book to read in The Land of Stories series. It has tons of spoilers in it by the authors. It also explains how he came up with the idea when he was child, some of his original illustrations and some fan art.

Books are NEVER a kid's favorite thing, in this day and age, but these books are ADDICTIVE!! I have read these books over and over and over and over again. Give these to any kid and they'll be HOOKED.
