I absolutely recommend this one
NO FUMES/ ABSOLUTELY FUMELESS!!The Can: Can't say enough about the exceptional quality and capability of this gas can. Seeking a gas can that would not leak fumes into my SUV when transported internally for long haul recreation trips, I purchased this one after reading so many other positive reviews. I tested the can to see whether or not it was fumeless (a mandate from my wife who hates smelling gas inside the SUV while we are traveling). I filled the can with 5 gallons of regular gas and left it in my SUV for 6 days (seriously, I really did), and the can's seal was so effective, there was ABSOLUTELU NO GAS FUME smell in my SUV whatsoever. All you could smell, initially was the smell of the freshly painted can itself, which quickly dissipated. Over the five days, I drove my SUV twice, and the can fell over onto its side hard on one of those days when I made an abrupt U-turn. The lid sealed so securely and effectively tight, clamped and locked, there was no way it was opening or any fumes were getting out. Entering my SUV on day 6, I could not smell ANY fumes - you would never know there was a can filled with 5 gallons of gasoline in the back seat. My wife has a sensitive nose also, and she rode with me in the SUV on Day 6, herself also unable to smell any gasoline fumes from the can, even though it was in the back seat right next to her. So, if you want to a top notch, high quality and well made gas can that is guaranteed not to leak fumes (if you are concerned about indoor living/breathing space storage/transport, I absolutely recommend this one. You can buy one for gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and other fuels and rest assured there will be no fume leakage. NOTE: Buy the package of spare gasket seals that are available so that, as the lid's seal wears over time, you can easily and cheaply replace them and retain the exceptional fumeless-ness this can offers.Spout: My can came with a mated spout and an extension to it. Like the lid, it seals onto the can very tightly preventing any leaks whatsoever when pouring out gas. the Nozzle is very easy to attach and use to dispense gas without spilling a single drop (seriously). NOTE: although you will never smell fumes from the can, once you use the nozzle, you will smell gas fumes from it as there will be gasoline residue inside it unless you flushed and dried it before storing/maintaining it.

Nice cans LOL.
Spoiler alert- diatribe to follow, please feel free to ignore everything after:“I love everything about the Waivan cans. Also choice of color makes it very easy to grab gas or diesel and go.Built great (so far) and I have every expectation they’ll still be serviceable 15 years from now just like my old NATO surplus cans.”Only thing I don’t like is the new spout requirements (not Waivans fault) that make the can unnecessarily tricky to get open and closed. Not a big deal at all just a minor inconvenience compounded by the fact that the new cans come with very little to no documentation on how the new spout attaches or stores etc.The shiny metal pin needs to be pulled completely out of the way in order to lift up the cover and attach the fill spout. Then you’re magically supposed to know when you’re finished filling the car, pressure washer etc. not to force the flap down but rather to lift it up from the can just a smidge before it will easily close without bending things out of useable shape. Then finally lining up the flat edge of the pin through the two holes and pushed back to its original position thus keeping the flap secure and contents in the can where they belong instead of all over the garage floor.I really hate CARB (California Air Resources Board) and the ridiculously stupids hoops they create for me to jump through just to gas up the lawnmower. But I digress, overall same great NATO can as always with a genius solution that keeps the can compliant with modern storeage regs and requirements while also ultimately maintaining the reason the jerry can was and is so great in the first place, it works, and will probably last a lifetime or maybe even several..

If you're considering this item, buy it. You won't be disappointed.
I've lived in FL most of my life, and having gasoline on hand for a generator is a must during hurricane season. I've always used the plastic 5 gallon variety from different manufacturers with several different spout configurations over the years. They all leak where the spout attaches to the can, and the "no spill" spouts make the leaking worse by several orders of magnitude. This year I acquired a hunting lease property and a gas guzzling swamp buggy. After filling it with gas a couple of times from the plastic cans I was over it, entirely, and began my search for a better system. I ordered 3 of these Wavian cans, and simply couldn't be happier with them. You can't MAKE these cans leak. I was prepared for the "environmentally friendly" nozzles that come with them to be just north of useless, but so far I don't have a single complaint about them. I purchased a "non-approved" old style nozzle for each can when I ordered the cans just in case, but I haven't needed to use them. The nozzles included with the cans require some pressure on the end of the nozzle while pouring, but they're well designed and don't leak. The first time I used these cans, I emptied a 5 gallon can into my swamp buggy in less than 3 minutes using the nozzle that came with it, and literally didn't spill a single drop. With the plastic cans, even with a vent, it would have taken much longer and at least a cup or two of gasoline would have wound up on the ground.I rarely write product reviews, and usually only when I'm pleasantly surprised and/or very impressed. If you use 5 gallon gas cans on the regular, do yourself a favor and buy one or more of these cans. They're by far the best gas cans I've ever used, and worth every penny of their price.
