Nice big screen, good picture quality but adhesive was weak
I got this to upgrade an old cheap backup camera monitor that I previously had and this one is definitely better. The pros are that this screen is a lot bigger but is more slim and also has the versatility to mount through the adhesive or on your windshield through the suction mount. It is pretty straightforward if you have installed rearview camera in the past and all you need is a power supply and to connect it to the rearview camera. For my power supply, I just use this adapter that plugs into the car power outlet so it’s much more convenient then splicing wires today, etc. The only problem I had with this is that at first, I was having some trouble with the suction mount because it wasn’t sticking well so I decided to use the adhesive instead and all was going well but after a couple of minutes the adhesive had fallen off! Of course, once it falls off it will keep falling off. One problem was that it wasn’t a completely flat surface I was trying to stick it on and I realized when I tried to stick it onto a flatter surface that it stuck much better so it might’ve been partially my fault. Anyways, I went back to the suction mount and figured out how to get it to stick. Basically, you need some moisture to get it to suction onto the windshield but I forgot to do that and it wasn’t in the included instructions so it took me a little longer to install it but now it is in my car and working well so no complaints! Just heed my advice and make sure if you are using the suction mount to apply some moisture to it before and if you are using the adhesive to make sure it’s a completely flat surface. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase but it did take me a little longer to figure out then I expected. If you thought my review was helpful, please click below!

Super easy installation
We’ve mounted a backup camera on the back-end of or travel trailer and we decided that it would be fun to be able to activate it and look out the back of the trailer when we are in it. It took a little doing, but the trailer already has 12 volt wiring, so it was just a matter of splitting and diverting the video signal to this screen inside the camper. I won’t get into that here, but the result is really cool.We can now be in the trailer in the woods, in a storm, or just when it’s cold outside and we can quickly take a look outside with the flip of a switch. The screen has two video input wires, so we’re going to see about perhaps adding a “side camera” to the trailer down the line. In the meantime, the screen is everything I expected, and it was an inexpensive way to add usefulness to the backup camera on the trailer. The screen comes with two mounting options; a glass suction mount, and a surface-top mount. For our purposes I taped it onto the wall, and once I get the wires routed and hidden away, it will definitely look like some kind of hi-tech wizardry. P.S. I mounted my camera upside-down accidentally, so don’t pay attention to the upside down dogs.

Easy to install
Easy to install just find a 12v power source and a place to mount the monitor and your done. Hoping the suction cup holds on my windshield in this South Texas heat. I am using this as a monitor for a tail gate back up camera on my 2012 Ram 2500. I installed it on the left side of the windshield closes to the dashboard in case it decides to fall off the window, that will keep it from breaking. I got my 12v power from the left side of the steering column under the dashboard same location I got the 12v for the reverse back up camera Red/White wire that is in a bundle of wire's. So I get power to both units when it goes into REVERSE. Pictures are day time picture's good quality. Night time picture's are grainy, that's probably due to my camera. Need to investigate. Hope this helps.

I don’t know
The photos are of the first screen which I had professionally installed . Instead of the suction attachment it was put on with a light film of two way stick plastic . Sun came out and it fell off the windshield and into the car door in the grocery store parking lot ! No more screen . So I purchased another screen of the exact brand just a hair larger with the suction attachment . Since I couldn’t afford to have the car taken to the shop and have the monitor professionally put in , I simply sliced into the existing wires from the other NEW monitor . Same brand identical in appearance and same exact wires . It works alright , but it’s like looking at a photo negative .
