NADY RMX-6 6 channel Rackmount Mono Microphone / Line mixer with phantom power and master tone controls - XLR and ¼” inputs and outputs

Just received today. Working great. When I first fired it up, I had a HORRIBLE white noise hum... just like another reviewer mentioned about the product. I was about to send back and order something else. However, a few minutes of research made me realize it's a ground loop hum... I got a ground loop hum elimantor and the hum was instantly gone. So glad I figured out the issue. This is a very simple to use mixer which is what I wanted.

This equipment plays really awesome, the output power it gives out to my amplifier is more than enough than i had needed. I had to turn the Master volume down to 35-40% so i can have normal output power going to my amplifier, My mixers don't even have that much power going to my Dj amplifier and i'm using a Pyramid PZA-100 which is also a very good amplifier for regular gigs and the sound quality from both is excellent. I turned up the Pre-amp to the maximum power just to test the power handling to the Amplifier and it plays crystal clear no distortion. But i had my amplifier turned up to 75% power because if i had turned it up more the amplifier will clip out because of the speakers i was using.

I am using this for my home rehearsals, where I need to have a guitar, a keyboard, and my iphone coming out of the speaker so I can play along with songs I need to learn. I can also use this for small-venue PA situations, as I purchased a 2U portable rack case, and I have a 1U Behringer power amp. This product works well. Just wished it had L and R outputs - it has only 1 output. Channels 4-6 have phantom power, which is great.

Nice unit. Had to return it. One channel didn't work. Unit had a lot of 'background' noise. can't say if it were in my installation setup, but the noise was present. Decent quality, and love the rack mount. Unfortunately, the unit had on channel that didn't work.

Needs switch to turn off the phatum power.

Purchased this for my internet radio show to add more mics.. Figured the Nady could handle that, didn't need anything high end... As soon as I plugged it in I noticed a very significant background hiss just from it being plugged into my mixer... This was just XLR out from Nady to XLR in mixer nothing turned up nothing plugged in. The background noise was being created from the power running through it no matter where it was plugged in or using a different cord.. Tried different XLR, different power, and even tried the 1/4 connection with the same results.. So I tried an older Behringer UBB1002 using 1/4 outs and noticed how much quieter it was right away.. Nady is going in the trash since I had it out of the box so long without testing and threw the box away.. Good luck if you try picking this up..

Inexpensive, clean, solid rackmount mixer. I've had this mixer for almost 5 years and it still works like brand new. Very clean, no noise, no problems.
