Arrived fresh & tasted great, just wish I could have preserved it longer.

Beautiful fresh Thai Basil, arrived quickly and in great condition. Used some fresh, froze the rest which worked perfectly. Just ran out I’m ordering more today.

This is the most delicious tasting and smelling basil I think I've ever eaten. Thank you, I needed it too. My body had been craving good basil. I will definitely order from you again. Plus, it arrived early. It was a win win for me. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

UPDATE: The seller apparently saw my review and surprised me with a 100% refund!That was very nice of them. It really wasn't their fault since it took almost 2 weeks for the package to get to me.So, I'm totally happy with the seller. Not so much with the post office.ORIGINAL REVIEW: It was ordered on December 1st. Order just arrived today, December 11th; mostly wilted, black, slimey, almost mouldy.Trying to salvage about 1/3rd of the shipment. Rest is inedible and a total waste.The item for sale indicates, "No Returns", so I guess that's that.UPDATE: Even though I immediately cut 1/4" off the bottoms of the stalks and put them in a glass of water, the remaining third that I ordered is quickly becoming trash.BAD DEAL. I cannot advise buying this product.

I was very surprised how beautifully fresh these basil leaves arrived, and how long they have remained fresh and flavorful. I just ordered as a gift for a family member; I hope they receive as fresh a shipment as I did.

...and the rest went into the trash. The only reason to take your chances here is that you don't have access to Thai basil and you're a gambler at heart. Think about it: this herb can be very difficult to store once it's home, much less in transit. The sellers simply shove a half pound of Thai basil into a plastic bag, which they then shove into a priority mail envelope. That's it: no insulation, no nothing. Maybe it'll arrive fresh...probably not. At my Asian grocery, this stuff is a just under a quarter the price ($7/# there, and $22 here), but I couldn't make it there due to COVID and other factors. Because half was unusable, it ended up being $44/#, and that's a rip off. Caveat emptor.

I took a chance on this because Thai Basil is out of season and I can't find it anywhere locally this time of year. I decided I would give it a try, and when I saw that it was shipping from CA and it would take over a week to get here, I was skeptical. When it arrived, much to my surprise, it was incredibly fresh! There were some leaves that had browned, but I will be able to use most of them (at least 90%). I used some in a stir fry right away and will freeze the rest. It was a bit expensive, but worth the indulgence for the authentic Thai basil flavor.

Product came in well within estimate, great quality Thai basil and in a good quantity. Only minimal bruising or wilting from shipment but otherwise great quality. Will definitely be ordering again.
