Overall the test seems to work and is affordable
They have excellent customer service. They respond to all questions by email very quickly. Best to ask then to package five test cards per packet instead of the 10 cards per packet, Since you have to use to test cards within three days of opening the package. It is often difficult to determine how blue the test result is. This means it is sometimes difficult to determine whether there is a low level of pesticides versus none, as the darkness of the blue determines whether the sample is pesticide free. Overall, the test seems to work and is affordable.

Not very useful
The test kit is very tiny, smaller than I expected. The test strips are about 1"x2" and the bottle of 'washing solution' holds maybe 1 oz which was only enough for me to do a couple of tests. I don't know what chemical is in that bottle, it may be easily obtainable or it may even be water but I do not know and none of their marketing materials say. To see how this test kit works you can watch the YouTube video from the manufacturer.I found the results to be somewhat disappointing. Strawberries are supposed to have lots of pesticides so to see if the kit works I tested conventional strawberries from the supermarket, organic strawberries from the supermarket, and organically grown strawberries from the local farmer's market. The results from all three were almost identical. I think the farmer's market strawberries possibly showed a more negative result, but all three results were basically negative from what I could tell. This doesn't necessarily mean the kit doesn't work. Maybe none of those foods actually had organophosphates on them or perhaps I didn't follow correct procedure, but I think if you are just a normal consumer trying to determine if your food has pesticides on it this kit would be a waste of your money. If you are a science teacher or something maybe its worth playing around with but then again you probably already know how to do something like this without paying $60.

Simple to use test kit and work as expected.
Used this for my niece's science fair project and used it again for our vegetables at home. Works like a charm. All I needed to do was just follow the instructions. They also have video instructions available which is really helpful! Will use this often!

SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY
I purchased these for my son's science project...SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!Everything we tested showed positive to pesticides...even filtered and bottled water. Went through the whole pack trying to figure out if we were even doing the test correctly. terribly disappointed.

Works great. Amazing to see how helpful it is for demonstrating and testing the pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables. One less star is for not having enough specific details about which color means how much pesticide residue is there in terms of numbers or percentage. Instead the color gives a broad understanding of low, medium or high pesticide residue but not specific statistics or numbers to substantiate that broad description.

Very easy to use!
Very easy to use! The test is very compact and practical. I saw my nephew use this test for his science project, so I bought it to use for random testing on my vegetables. Will use this often!

No way to tell its accuracy or levels of exposure
The tests are not for someone looking for accuracy and full comprehension. The instructions on how to do the test are clear enough. However, there is no information about exactly what the test is, what ingredients/chemicals it uses to detect exactly which pesticides and at what levels. The most indication you get is a colour change on the card that indicates either "high", "low" or "no" pesticide residue. It does not specify what that means in terms of actual levels. All in all, because of a lack of information, you have no idea what the test is, cannot judge whether it is accurate, and cannot tell what is and is not being tested for.Having said that, we used these tests in a workshop for community health workers in Guatemala and as a demonstration tool to get people to think about pesticide presence in different products it worked well. However, they all had the same questions that we did about exactly what is and is not being looked for/shown. This could be a good product if it gave more information, but as it stands it is not trustworthy.
