Good multitool
I like the SOG tools because they are built well and also the pliers have the compund leverage. I do like my powerlock model the most but this is a close second.

Incredibly well designed tool.
I am a huge multitool nut. This thing might just be my new highest recommended multitool. Great array of tools. This is going to beat my Signal as my EDC. It will also be a great companion to my Dual Force.Pros:Gearing the Pliers and integrating a bit driver into the mechanism and striking surface for the chisel when in a closed position. The ways to handle using and storing standard 1/4 bits I have seen yet.At first some of the tools felt narrow because of the locking mechanism, but that might actually add upsome bonus weight savingsCons:Wire cutters aren't replaceable.Unlocking mechanism takes up a lot of space which could have been used for bigger tools, improving handle comfort and reducing the cost of making a complex part. Some of thee tools are hard to pull out and could use bigger fingernail notches.Areas to improve:Integrated Phillips should be No 2 and not No1Saw and file could have been a little longer.Gears are slightly proudThe lock release mechanism needs to be simplified.I love the way by Signal has a flat design for the 1/4 bit. If that isn't a patent that style could be integrated for even more space saving. The bit holder could easily be modified to function as bike tire removal tools. There is room to sneak a cable cutter when closing the pliers even if it would only cut ends.If this just had an engageable spring open for the pliers it would be practically perfect.

Great Tool
I have used these types of tools since the early 80's and most if not all the top named brands work well. Most of the time I have used the leader "L" but I started using the SOG tools about ten years ago and liked them but they were heavy and I had to carry enough gear and equipment to make weight an issue, so I stuck to lite and strong. However, I read a piece in one of the tactical mag's that showed a new SOG tool, this one so I ordered it. It arrived and seems well built ,strong , lite , and just what I was looking for in this type of device. I also bought it's little brother and the pair seem to perfect. These are great tools , SOG has done a better job with their design and uses. Hope this helps.

Fair price
It's a good tool but i wouldn't say"Heavy Duty". Tools could easily be broken if too much prying was done. I like the bit driver and 1/4" socket driver. Knife is kinda thin. Wish it had scissors. But for the price it's a great edc for a backpack kit.

This is a full size, heavy-duty multi tool.
I am a fan of SOG tools: knives and multi tools. They are not top-tier Leatherman products but I am always in for their smooth gear driven open/close mechanism. Its pliers are very precisely made, all inner tools are a bit small for my taste but I have no other big complaints about them. Only minor issue I can see is that the plastic tab for releasing the tools to stow back in to the frame: it's kind of flimsy and i am not fully confident on its longevity in the wild.Overall, it's SOG after all. I am happy with the purchase.

Tough tool
I had my eye on this for awhile. I had a SOG Power Pint which impressed me quite a bit, but was on the small side for general use, and the Power Access Deluxe looked pretty much like a full grown Power Pint. So i decided to buy one if for no other reason than to satisfy my curiosity. One thing the SOG tools have is that compound leverage applied to the pliers. I'm getting older and am loosing some grip strength and the grip these things bring to bear is pretty awesome. I have always viewed any brand multi tool as a jack of all trades sort of a thing, pretty handy for lots of stuff, but not necessarily ideal for any one particular task. In this vein I do not mind that the knife blades, file, and saw are somewhat on the small size. If I need them for something other than a light task, I am usually close enough to something else better. For instance, I ALWAYS have a GOOD, sharp sturdy knife in my pocket, and various other tools close to hand in my ATV. I also liked that they came with dual bit driver options and a decent bit kit. The pouch is pretty decent too. but I carry horizontal, so the belt loops are a bit small, but they work. The only real gripe I have with this tool lies with the idiot who did the final assembly. The pivot screws were far too tight to be adequately loosened. I did get them to back off a little, making the tool transfer from being too tight to use to being usable, but still needs to be a bit looser. There was far too much torque applied with too much thread locker used in the bargain. The pivot screws are of a far too soft material and I'm afraid they will strip if I use any more effort, and YES I do have driver bits of the proper size and dimension and I did use a vise to secure the tool. The design should have included, as a no brainer choice, to use a captive screw where only one side needs to be manipulated. I have yet to decide whether or not to send it to SOG. Those screws may well have to be drilled out, or the tool recycled and replaced.Overall, aside from this, it is a solid, sturdy, adequately well designed tool which has served me well as a daily use edc multi tool.

Invaluable tool.
Very durably built. I’ve used this at home, the range and on the rv on trips. It is a little stiff when it comes out of the box, but loosens up in time the more you use it.
