Amazing picture quality and convenient webOS.
I'm very happy with this projector. I'm fairly new to using projectors, as my prior projector was $300. Needless to say, the picture quality and brightness was not to my liking so I was looking for a reasonable upgrade.I didn't wanna go too high end because my set up (apartment with a lot of ambient light) would not be able to take advantage of the very expensive projectors. My search led me to this LG projector. I was particularly looking for a bright projector, and at 2700 ANSI lumens, this one definitely fits the bill. I can clearly see images during the day when the sun basically fills the room. Now the black is obviously washed out but I can otherwise see the picture clearly.I also wanted something that would display crisp, clear pictures, which this projector also delivered. Watching 4k HDR videos (screenshot attached) is a mesmerizing experience. The noise is barely audible, but you can tell there is a fan.The webOS is much more convenient than I thought. You can buy Chromecast or Roku stick to get a similar experience, but the LG remote is well designed. The horizontal and vertical lens shifters are very handy. Note that there are only vertical keystones. However, using the keystones degrades picture quality so I would rather place the projector better to avoid using them. Finally, you can customize a lot of the settings to your liking. There is even an AV adjuster in case the sound is not in sync. The one downside I see is that the input lag is on the high side (50 ms) for gaming. I don't intend to game on this so it is not an issue for me.

Huge screen beats 65 inch oled + dolby vision
This is my first projector.I was using a 65" LG C8 oled TV before in my home theater. Having perfect blacks and dolby vision on the TV kept me from changing my set up to use a projector. After making the switch to a 100" screen, I can never go back. No matter how wonderful the blacks and dolby vision hdr on a TV are, a huge screen beats it every time.My theater setup has white popcorn ceilings and light gray walls. I thought that my room was not dark enough and made the mistake of choosing a Gray matte screen from Silver ticket since it had some ambient light rejecting properties. That Gray screen gave me red speckling with dim colors.I switched to the White matte screen from Silver Ticket, no speckling and brighter colors. The blacks from the white screen were fine in my untreated room. I have no ambient light when watching except for the light reflecting from projector to the walls.I saw a few rainbow artifact instances with the Gray screen. Like 3 seconds total out of a 2 hour long movie. I have yet to see a rainbow on the White screen.Cons:Coming from a totally silent tv, this projector has low noise. You will hear it in parts where the movie is silent. It takes some getting used to.Pros:Huge screen. Great image. It looks like a 4k LCD tv.Laser light with no dimming. With bulbs the light incrementally gets dimmer each time you watch.Generous setup options. I have this projector sitting on a shelf 5.6 feet off the ground, 9.5 feet away.Overall, this projector is well worth the money.Review Update: My hdmi EARC sound issue was solved by setting the hdmi input to PCM and the sound output also to PCM instead of Auto. I also see that the Netflix is now available. Upgrading my review to 5 stars.

Do NOT Buy. Defective Product and LG Will Do Nothing
I ordered this product about two years ago. It sat in its box while I finished my home theater room. I've used it regularly over the past year, at least three times a week for TV and movies.Recently, I saw a stuck pixel on the screen, a bright white dot that doesn't go away no matter what. I didn't reach out to LG immediately because I had my projector mounted to the ceiling and the serial number is conveniently located on the bottom of the projector in the most most likely to be covered by any mount you might buy.But then, a second pixel became stuck as well. So, now I have two stuck, bright white pixels. This is an obvious product defect. Nobody should be buying a product and then having it fail in this manner this quickly. I have a ten+ year old cheap DLP projector that I used to use as heavily as I do this projector, and in all that time, the only thing I had to do was replace the bulb. Once.I reached out to LG but they told me I was out of warranty. They don't care that this is an obvious defect on their part. They don't care that if you go reading online forums that many many owners are all reporting this problem. At this point, I'm probably never going to buy another LG display of any kind unless they change their tune and step up to fix their own mistakes. This isn't caused by me. This isn't normal wear in a normal amount of time. It's a product defect and LG should do better.
