Great for Apple Home once you update the firmware
I ordered 8 of these for my new apartment. They are brighter than the incandescent bulbs my landlords had before, so it really fills the room with light. Setting them up is a bit manual and you have to wait about 3-5 minutes per bulb for Apple Home to register it with your network. Aside from that minor inconvenience, 7 of the 8 paired perfectly. One, however, continually failed to connect to both the app and Apple Home, in spite of factory reset and the "Wifi Method". The solution was to 1) wait for the Wifi method, 2) update to the latest firmware (3.90) at time of writing in the Wifi wizard, 3) factory reset it by power cycling 5 times, and 4) attempt to connect it normally. After that, it worked good as new and I am generally satisfied so far.

Love This HomeKit/Siri Compatible Smart Light Bulb
It’s one of my favorite Siri controlled smart home devices. I have four of these light bulbs and they work very well with Apple HomeKit and Siri. Have them in my kitchen, bedroom, garage, and outdoor porch. I like changing light color and intensity on the fly with Siri. I’ve had the porch light bulb for a few years and am extremely impressed that it works so well during the freezing cold Wisconsin winters.Might try programing an automation for the bedroom nightstand light bulb to gradually wake me up in the morning with the sunlight color option where the light automatically turns on at a very dim 1% intensity level slowly increasing to a bright 100% over a predetermined time simulating waking up to natural sunlight.

What is for my vanity no regrets.
The smart lights are excellent, they are bright and vivid with colorful LED lighting. No complaints with the units themselves only complaint is with the lyfx app. For connecting them.

Great solution for remotely controlling security lights
Quite pleased with these bulbs! I put 2 of them in an exterior 2 headded flood light on my garage. The instructions were good but the video made it all the More easier. I had issues with using the qr code to add the bulbs to the app, but the add manually feature was a breeze. The app is easy to use and I have added it to my Google home so all I have to to is tell Google to turn on the garage lights. Also have created a schedule for evening and morning.

Bright, colorful but aggravating, buggy and frustrating!
It's hard for me to overstate just how frustrating it has been work with these lights. To be sure, they are bright and offer a full color spectrum but once you get them connected to your wifi -- IF you are successful in connecting them -- in my experience you can expect them to disconnect for no apparent reason at least once a month. OK. That's bad but what's even worse and more aggravating is that reconnecting them is a circus of frustration -- some bulbs in a location will connect just fine but 1 o2 others will not and that then seems to impact the entire group of bulbs and then you reset and then they are all disconnected.... Etc. It is just one thing after another.Adding to these issues, there is no getting through to tech support on the phone about these problems and how to address. There is no known phone number that I can find anywhere (and even if I did find one, I'm quite sure they wouldn't pick up because they're quite clear they don't offer phone support). I finally was able to identify an email tech support address (support@lifx.com) but responses are SLOW in coming and limited to email. My experience is that I get an initial response after a day, maybe two but if there is any need for follow-up -- and there almost always is given the erratic nature of the connection -- you again have to wait another day or two for a response. Then another, then another.... Before you know it it's been two weeks and the lights still don't work.Again, the quality of the lights and colors are terrific but this is completely overcome by the erratic connection of these bulbs to wifi and the buggy setup/connection process. After months of trying to make it work, I'm tossing them and going with another brand of lights. My new lights may not be as bright or colorful but at least they'll turn on when I need them.I would strongly discourage anyone from purchasing the LIFX bulbs.

Working great
Bought two of those recently as I was experiencing issues finding Phillips bulbs anywhere. I mostly use BR30 bulb type around the house and I was intrigued about the shape of the LIFX bulbs. They definitely are different but the shape is not affecting the bulb performance while they do stick out a little more out of the niches if you look closely enough. The bulbs were priced much better than the Phillips I normally purchase while I think Phillips bulbs are overpriced to start with but I like them and never had any issues with them since I have started using them and that is at least 4 years now. LIFX bulbs are performing very well and are brighter overall which can be helpful at times. It seems that there are a few options right out of the box to manage color changes that make it easier to manage than Phillips, I recall using different apps for those and eventually just keeping it to the simplest settings and changing colors with voice commands. The only place I have struggled with the LIFX bulb and that happened for both of them and one more time when I lost control of one is the install and connection to Alexa. For whatever reason this took me longer than setting up a new router and frustrated me more....when done all was working as designed. Not blaming the manufacturer here but not straightforward for me. Great bulbs so far and will certainly buy more as I keep expanding on my quest to be switch independent (or whatever!).
