Useful to take the slack up on things like the washing line which to slacken over time and the wires along my fence panel to tie back various plants. The ones I purchased had the closed eyelets each end, which work fine but on occasion perhaps the type with open ends (hooks) would've been more practical, even quicker to use. Then again might tend to slip off. Probably will buy some of those type to keep my options open.

Great for tensioning cables. Easy use

I got these for tensioning some stretches of fence wire. They’re well made but are a little lightweight for this purpose. However they’d be good for garden wire / plant supports. The threads run smoothly.

Very happy with these so far, but time will tell if the stainless stands up to weathering.

have used these before, found to be nice and solid, good for the purpose and they haven't rusted while sitting in the open next to our pond, I am happy to recommend these if you need to tension wire for securing plants etc,

This item is a great idea to ensure you get a good tension on wires for climbing plants. I bought a complete kit but needed a few more of these to finish the job. They are excellent
