It works!
What is there to say? It does the job it’s intended for, but note that the ignition lead clip needs to face the right way (there’s an arrow that should point towards the spark plug). I don’t know why, but it seems less reliable if it’s facing the wrong way…

Basic quality strobe gun but not particularly good quality

It's all about the timing
Needed this strobe light to set up the timing on my classic beetle. I like the way it hooks onto the HT lead to take a reading.It worked a treat and now my bug is running mighty fine.

Absolute waste of money
Went to use this for the first time and it worked for a second and the bulb failed. Wouldn’t buy. Cheap and nasty.

As a first time user of a timing light I was very happy with the simple operation and ease of use . It did my job on a VW air cooled engine.
