NATURDAO - 1,000,000 HDU - DAO Enzyme Supplement - Histamine Block - Diamine Oxidase - Food Intolerance - 60 Tablets

Thanks to this supplement, I can eat whatever I want now. Previously I was on a low histamine diet, only eating certain foods & using a pork based DAO (blech). Then I decided to make the swap to this vegan version because it's so much stronger with the 1,000,000 HDU & only needs 5 minutes to start working! It took about a week or two for me to stabilize my histamine levels with this enzyme. And now? This weekend I ate hibachi, miso soup, pizza, pickles & ranch. No problem. Never have experienced any side effects, either. Highly, highly recommend if you're dealing with histamine intolerance. Seriously a game changer!

I have a form of histamine intolerance in which there are genetic mutations in my DAO and HNMT enzymes, leading to a slower clearance of histamine and allergic reactions upon ingestion of histamine rich foods. Taking one of these shortly before a meal eliminates most of the symptoms. I avoid the worst offenders (ex sauerkraut, cured meats) but other than that I am now able to eat freely with, at worst, mild easily tolerable symptoms.I experimented with higher doses, going up to 3 per meal (6 per day). While my histamine symptoms went from mild to zero, my depression significantly worsened, and I had a constant mild stomach ache. As another review mentioned, this pea DAO enzyme may break down precursors to neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine at higher doses, which could worsen depression. Upon lowering the dose back to 1-2 per day, the side effects went away within a few days.Overall, it's a great help for my histamine intolerance, just watch out for worsening of depression.

Expensive but very good quality DAO supplementHighly recommend this brand, just one tablet will mostly reverse a bad histamine reaction in an hour which is life-saving for me! No prescription needed.

Update 5/2/25: NaturDAO contacted me in response to my one-star review. I am very happy with the customer service for this product. I sincerely hope that they invent a pea sprout-only supplement without any fillers.Original review:Bad reaction. I tried a half a pill 5 minutes before my breakfast this morning. Within 15-20 minutes, I felt a strange surge of adrenaline in my body and became shaky and had a cold sweat. This lasted for about 10 minutes in which I was trying not to panic. It has subsided now, an hour after taking half a pill, and now I am left with heartburn and a bit of anxiety from the whole experience.I am so thankful I only took half a pill. I know this is a very helpful product for many, but if you are trying this for the first time, you might even want to try a smaller dose first.I am disappointed there is no refund available for the people who have bad reactions. I even went to their website FAQ in which they claim there are no side effects. The company should be backing up their product when there have been several people who have had bad reactions in these reviews. Upset there isn't an easy way to contact them.

NatruDAO is amazing! I've been feeling so tired and I have two other autoimmune conditions that I couldn't seem to get under control no matter what I did with diet, exercise, medications, supplements. Someone suggested that I may have a histamine intolerance so I read up on it and realized I have all the symptoms so I went looking for a DAO Supplement and although this product only had 56 reviews at the time I purchased it, every review had 5-stars. I read through the reviews since I'm skeptical when something has an abundance of 5-stars reviews but they all seemed to be from real people, so I ordered this product two weeks ago.It comes in a box of 60 tablets and you take one tablet 5 minutes before you have a meal, so you will probably use 2-4 a day depending on your eating habits. Some people have said they break the tablets in half so they get more value for their money. I haven't tried that yet.While this product may seem a bit on the pricey side, it is WELL worth the money. I noticed a huge difference the first day I took it. I started feeling less fatigued and had more motivation within the first 24 hours. After two weeks, I've noticed I'm not as bloated. I sleep better. My skin isn't as dry. My joints have been hurting less. My bowel function is almost back to normal. I brain feels less dizzy and my memory function that was starting to wane is improved. I've gotten more done around the house in the past two weeks than I have in the past four months because I haven't worked all day and then just felt like I needed a nap or that I was in too much pain to do anything. My spouse has commented that I have been in a much better mood and much less irritable.I haven't tried any other DAO supplements, so I don't know if any are comparable, but after using this product with such stellar results, I don't think I would change products unless another one had effects that were just as good but at a lower price.They also suggest eating a low histamine diet for additional support. I haven't gotten that far yet and have been eating regular foods, some high in histamine. I do plan to try low histamine foods as a means to feel even better, but this product seems to work well even when you're eating high histamine foods. Some high histamine foods I've eaten in the past two weeks while using this product include tomato sauce, shrimp, chocolate, egg whites, green peppers, pizza, cake made with wheat flour, ham, sausage, several oranges and orange juice.I know that my review makes this seem like a "miracle supplement" but if you have histamine intolerance, it really is.Now that I have my histamine in check for now, I'll see if the half tablets work and report back after I've had time to fully assess.

Exceptional customer service. They reached out to me and gave me a full refund. Very generous as it was my error. I have a histamine allergy to beans so this didn't agree with me.

I have been happy with this product (works well for me, I take a 1/2 tablet) but last shipment arrived with the flap undone and tapped back with clear tape, which does not inspire trust. There is apparently no way (or no simple way) to return or get refund, which is pretty bad.My 3 stars are for the product efficiency, I took 2 off for this delivery issue. I am not sure I will take this batch.
