I’ve been using this product over the past year after growing my beard fully. The first can I bought had s smooth consistency and a pleasant smell.I liked how it blended into my beard, gave it a nice sheen, scent and control.I just used the last of my first can today and opened the can I ordered on Feb 22nd. It is nothing like the first can! This can has a much stronger smell and watery texture, with a grainy feel. As if it got overheated or, frozen at some point. I equate it to how ice cream that has thawed, and refrozen at some point feels. Gross!The BS part of this is, the return window closed on March 24th. I just had not opened it yet! This is total BS.At this point Beard Guyz has successfully lost a client and what would have been a glowing endorsement.I am going to contact them directly at the 800 number provided on the can. An update will follow.

The hold and the texture it provides for my beard is amazing. The one thing I cannot get past is the smell. It's not a bad smell but it is a very powerful waxy smell. It almost takes my breath away. Because of this I cannot use this product by itself and always have to use it with something else in order to dampen the smell. It's a very strong beeswax smell.Works exactly the way I would like. If the smell was improved in some way I would be a forever fan. However, due to the smell, once I am done using this I will never get it again.

What a non greasy control for your goatee or beard. Just a few rubs into the beard balm and your wild hairs are under control. I usually apply right after drying off from a shower and good for the rest of the day! Great product, great smell!

A coworker had his beard always neat and styled, so I asked him if he was ironing it. He told me about this product and I don't regret trying it. All beards are different and I didn't expect to see mine as styled as his, because he has about an inch straight hairs and mine is 3 inches waved. For my surprise, my beard styled very fluent, my gray hairs shone like silver, but I had to brush it few times to see results. It holds very well, and last the whole 8 hours of work shift The product has a particular essence which I liked too.It's good to find things like this which enhances small details and make some of us feel bigger (at least inside).Thanks for it!JJ

Ever since I’ve started using beard balm I have bought from these guys. The funny thing is, everytime the product is different. It smells different, it varies in terms of thickness and hold ,however never to the point to where it is an issue. Mind you this is the same box that I re-order. It works fine and keeps my beard in place. This last batch smelled so bad and felt like glue on my fingers. I tossed it out and it made me reconsider the brand as a whole. Personally, I will never buy from them again. I’ll go to Burt’s bees or another maker of beard balm. It wasn’t even worth returning for the money either. Be cautious purchasing from them. You do not want to put things that aren’t thought through on your body or face. I’ve purchased from Amazon for 12 years now. I have never written a review let alone a bad one. There was such a lack of care with this last batch that I felt responsible for letting people who are on the fence of purchasing from here know my experience. Be wary.
