Quiet and works as advertised. I use mostly bio media and some coarse foam in first compartment.Unlike the Biomasters, it does not have self-prime feature. However, I find you can “unlock” twist the hose connector and that will prevent water from leaving the hoses and filter while doing water change. Refill tank, “lock” hoses, and filter is primed and ready.I have deep cleaned the impeller once as flow was slightly lower after 9 months. Easy to do and working well.

Very quiet filter and easy set up. So happy I purchased the filter with the heater built in, saves a lot of room in my small 10 gallon. This filter has a good range for intake and return water flow rate, easy to adjust. The intake pipe is a little too long for my tank but it would be very easy to cut the plastic pipe to size or attach a lily pipe set for a more seamless look. All in all, wonderful filter and I look forward to putting it to use in a larger tank one day.

I knew OASE was a good company for filters but i did not know they were this good! They give you everything you need in the box including hoses that are plenty long. I love the fact that this filter also has a heater built right into it! (you can save so much space in your tank). It is also VERY QUITE! I use to have a hang on the back filter and i thought that thing was quite, BUT MAN, this one is ultra quite.Priming it took a bit longer than i thought but that was only the first time and it was fine ever since. They also give you ample media and HIGH QUAILTY sponges.Last thing about this filter is that you can tell that the company uses high precision machines and materials to make their products. Stuff that normally breaks on other filters simply wouldn't on this.Great filter!

Una de las mejores compras, desde el empaque se nota la calidad. Llevo un año con el filtro y funciona muy bien, mantiene limpio el estanque casero que construí a mis tortugas. Es un excelente producto de OASE.
