Q: does this actually kill mold/mildew? Bc bleach does not actually do that.

It definitely has bleach and being a gel it does stay in place. But I get the same results using SoftScrub with bleach. Just let it set for a couple of hours and rinse. Mold and Mildew are gone. And for less money.

Q: Will this product work well for grout on ceiling of shower that has some mold spots?

I have only tried this product so far to silicone area in shower around the shower door silicone. There was a lot of mold build up under the silicone. I tried so many other mold cleaners and nothing worked. This product is amazing. I did have to do a couple of applications since the mold was under the silicone. There is a little left so I need to do another treatment but such a great difference. I plan on buying more. I would think it will work great on surface mold and mildew. Make sure to read directions and leave it on surface for a few hours. Totally recommend this product! Does not have much odor compared to other cleaners but still vented out bathroom.

Best case it provides a temporary cosmetic fix. The reason mold is there is because it's not sealed and needs to be replaced and worse yet the longer you wait you risk water getting behind the wall and causing a bigger mess. Q: How do you apply it? Do you squeeze it out of the tip? I do not see a hole at the end to squeeze it out of? Do you cut off the end?

You do not need to cut off the end. The black top that screws onto the white bottle is actually 2 pieces. The tip screws off leaving the part that screws onto the bottle attached. It can be closed and opened again and again
