Good quality original accesory
This winged eyecup set fits good on Swarovski SLC habicht HB 10x42 is a nice upgrade well worth the price. Recommended.

Keeps out distracting light
The eye cups fit snugly around your eyes and keeps out ambient light and provides more stability while viewing. The cups are kind of a pain to put on and I had to slip them around to get them to fit for my eyes. The cover doesn't really work very will and needs to be restrained if you are hiking around. It falls off frequently.

Keeps the sun out
Great if your doing a lot of grassing. I use them for hunting, long periods of sit time and looking. They can't be beat, function, fit, a two thumbs up.

you really need the eye cups to keep out light fro the side. this cover works fine w the other part.

Great for 10x42, loose for 10x30's
They fit great for my 10x42's. nice and snug. Don't understand someone saying they are hard to get on. I had no real problem. They are adequately snug on my 10x30's. Not great but adequate. They don't slide around, but they are not as snug as I would like them.I take away one star because the design of the rain cover for the shields is clumsy and oversized. I'm sure Swarovski could create a smaller footprint if they put their mind to it.
